That is Shania Twain, and that is apparently one of her new publicity photos. Of course, one can hear the Ramones influence in her work almost as one can hear her country influence.

that shirt probably cost her $500 in some shop in Tokyo......country bitches really irritate me. i guess that comes from living in the south for so long..........
oh dear God...say it isn't so???
somebody shoot the tw%t before she pusrchases a New Order shirt...
Why couldn't she jsut get a Foreigner shirt????
I saw her new video while flipping thru channels (you know, stoping to watch a train wreck). Her new song sounds almost exactly like every other song she's ever done. Cheers to creativity! :\party:
If the Ramones seriously thought of reforming after losing both Joey AND Dee-Dee, a pox would be placed upon them like no other
It sort of reminds me of my 17 year old brother. 2 years ago he's dressing, talking, and acting like D. Piddy or whoever. Now suddenly he's "angsty, unique, and sensitive". He pretends to know how to skateboard, and he sneers a lot.
He's sooooo punk.

I LOVE the new skateboarding geeks! They absolutely make my day (maybe I'm just envious becasue they have better balance). I remember back in the Eighties when such anti-social behaviour was the rage. Now they've got shitty "punk" bands (Sum 41 :\puke:, Blink 182, etc.) to encourage their non-getting-any asses (again, I may be envious of their ability to glide effortlessly over supermarket railings, I don't know)

nah...I don't hate all Canadian artists...I think Terri Clark isn't all that bad...even if she does sing country type music...

once again, carrie, i've got to agree with you on that one. dave foley is a BABE! so is mark mckinney, for that matter.
however, i wish that canada would wreak vengeance on bryan adams, celine, barenaked ladies, sum 41 and that band that did that 'mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm' song (forgot their name offhand), PLEASE! i know we have a lot to answer for ourselves, but maybe we can work out a special musical extradition treaty or something?

*mumbles* err crash test dummies?
Well, for my own personal goods, not in terms of beauty, but I really enjoy Our Lady Peace and Moist (or David Usher's solo project)
Really, really good lately!
Seriously, I'm not aware if they are know outside of Canada! But it gives you a much better opinion of Canadian music than Céline Dion, Bryan Adams and Shania Twain.. :D (I don't include Alanis Morissette in there, cause I actually like her music!)
We also produced Nickelback, Avril Lavigne and probably a lot of other bands I'm not even aware they are canadians..
Since the only "international" artist from the french side of Canada is Céline, (well, englishwise) and probably Moist/David Usher since they live in Montréal since 8 years, but are originaly from Alberta.. so being aware of other bands and to know they are canadian is an issue :D
