so, what's your favourite TV show?

mine:

US: law & order (all three), CSI (both)

UK: eastenders

do they still have to be on the air?

mine would be newsradio reruns (some of the funniest stuff ever! and just cuz i love dave foley. :love2: )

the other would be law and order.

Anything involving serial killers usually does it for me. Wire in the Blood is particularly good - not as good as the books though !

TV in Australia is fookin sad, aussies are only good for Neighbores and Home and Giveitaway.

The most interesting prog here is the Bill can`t think of a second.

Spanish TV is rubbish. Unmitigated rubbish.

IMO English TV is the best in the world, of course they do not realise this and keep complaining about it. "A touch of Frost" and "Corrie" are great although perhàps a bit naff.

My all time favourites are the three first series of X Files and Frasier. As for CSI i have never managed to really get into it.

Favourite recent shows would have to be Larry Saunders and Seinfeld for the US and The Office and Alan Partridge for the UK.

hmm I used to watch alot of those British detective shows with me mum, but for the life of me I cant think of the names. They were all good though> Cracker I think is one of them. Good show. Most of my fav shows are gone or past their prime, in which case I just watch reruns. They would be: Seinfeld Star Trek (the original) Simpsons Frasier My fav current show that is still in production has got to be Six Feet Under on HBO. Hands down the best thing on tv right now. I watch Sopranos too, but Six Feet Under is the best!!! Watch it if you havent seen it, theyre still showing the first two season in reruns, season 3 starts next year. :rolling:

The Osbournes (based on the one episode I saw) Scrubs (when I get to see it) Ed (going downhill now, may stop watching it)

I like the O'Reilly Factor too, never mind it's on Fox "Ronald Reagan was, like, the best president ever!" News :p

He's always struck me as a lot fairer to people on the left than a lot of the other anchors on that network, and he holds both sides accountable when they try to give him guff.

I gotta say, though, when I want a good partisan debate Crossfire on CNN is my fave. I watch it every now and then to see Tucker Carlson and Bob Novak make asses of themselves. Good show!

I almost never watch english TV, so it's difficult to name things you know :D

But, I do follow two things...

Friends & Survivor..

I was watching Seinfield.. well, it's gone now.. and I was a big X-Files fan... which reminds me, I watch more english TV than I remember, as Futurama-The Simpsons-King of The Hill and Malcolm In the Middle are still shows I'm watching even if the X-Files are gone ;)

Six Feet Under Sopranos The Simpsons South Park Family Guy Seinfeld Scrubs Late Night with Conan Obrien Law and Order CSI ER Unsolved Mysteries (A friend of mine was an actress for one of the stories!!) The Real World (Like watching a train-wreck) The Osbournes X Files A few weird shows that I'm sure no one else watches like an autopsy show with Dr. Michael Baden on one of the movie channels, and a few forensic science shows on the Discovery Channel.

I have to say that I've not seen one single episode of Survivor or any of its rip-offs.

I don't get the Sopranos. I have watched it a few times, and I can't fault it, it's a very well-done show. I just don't understand why everyone's saying it's so great. Maybe it's just me, I don't know.....

Still watch the Simpsons, Seinfeld, South Park, MST3K, Twin Peaks, Northern Exposure, and whatever may be interesting on the Discovery, Travel, or A&E (don't have BBC America, unfortunately).

Have not watched one second of any show like Survivor, Fear Factor, or stuff of that genre, or more than 2 minutes of any episode of Friends.

ALF is number 1. I know every chapter´s dialogs! The Simpsons are great. i like Friends too. and The little house on the prairie, not because I loved it but because that´s where I took the name of my band, almanso (Almanzo Wilder was Laura Ingalls boyfriend). I didn´t know I had to write it with z instead of s at the time I came up with that name. but now I realized I like it better with s.

Twin Peaks. The Bravo channel is showing the crazy show all over again at 4am central time.
I already have them all taped though. Except episode eight. Quite a lot happened in that one I guess.

whooo, degrass jr. high, yeah! seriously, that was a major influence on my childhood--Degrassi high was EVEN better. good memories--like the time Wheels ran away to find his birth parents but had zany adventures on the way. wild. times.

iron chef indeed.. god only knows how much i love that show (and why)

also have to mention the simpsons, and curb your enthusiasm - a show thats totally hilarious but makes you feel completely awkward and nervous at the same time..

i just recently discovered 'so graham norton' on bbc america. im a big fan of any show that people are allowed to say 'cock' on..
