ok. I have a todd rundgren vinyl laying about, got it for free a year ago. haven't listened to it yet and I'm afraid to, what will happen once I listen to this guy? what is he about, what is his music like? I'm afraid...

I've got just about every todd lp and 2-3 cds ever made. its an aquired taste. But he spans from pop to metal to ambient. Depends on the album. By the way I'm from Winnipeg.
hey man, hows the old 'peg(is that what they call Winnipeg?). what about the Todd Rundgren album "something/" .. getting a turntable next week and have no idea what to expect.
something/anything is basically classic pop includes, 'hello it's me' and 'I saw the light', and some other gems. i like it. Peg is balmy as we await teh 40 below stuff. but hooray no snow!
the one and only thing i know about said mr. rundgren is that until she was a teenager, liv tyler thought that rundgren was her natural father until she discovered that, in fact, mr. aerosmith was the responsible party.

i don't think liv's lips are as ghastly as papa tyler. he could swallow the world, whole, with that mouth.
Todd Rundgren is best listened to after you just got dumped by your girlfriend. He has an amazing catalog and isn't afraid to experiment with his sound. Unlike NO, I've grown tired of hearing his "hits" all the time, but once in a while he does something like that weird all a-capella album that throws you for a loop. Still, it had a couple of beautiful tracks.
I liked the murder scene in Vanilla Sky set to "Can We Still Be Friends". I like Todd's work in the Nazz best..
