Whats the funniest episode of SouthPark you have seen?

they showed one on Sky1 at the wkd about Afghanistan and Bin Laden which i thought was a bit gung-ho america and not really that funny.

my favourites got to be the one where Cartman inherits a million quid of his gran and buys a theme park but wont let anyone in so he doesnt have to queue up for rides!!

Or the one where he becomes a general in the army and marches across america with his troops all pissed up!!

classic :D

the civil war reenactment one you're talking about was just on the other night. and his robert e. lee beard! classic!

but my favourites still have to be 'starvin marvin' and the one where they embark on the quest to return 'lord of the rings' to the store.

as someone who grew up in a small mountain town in colorado, i can tell you that south park isn't all that removed from reality! especially that bus driver. AAAHHH!

Apart from the ones already mentioned, my vote has to go with the "Pokemon" craze sweeping the town. The kids were brainwashed into almost bombing Pearl Harbor. That was by far an insanely funny episode.

I love the "fight" scene in particular (the Pikachu one and some other creature just bouncing into one another..."Has Pikachu lost the will to fight"?)

the one with Cartman at a tea party that the other kids film and send in to Americas Funniest Home Videos is hilarious also. The conversation Cartman has with the other attendees is brilliant...

also the episode where Kenny walks up the the bus stop and Cartman starts singing "In the Ghetto"

when Cartman is a police officer on his big wheel and keeps saying "Respect My Ah thor it tay" kept me in stitches for months...

with the mountains reflected in his sunglasses? DAMN!

also the one where cartman has to sing 'sailing away' by styx if he hears the first few words.

so many of them....

Has the episode with Radiohead made it over to the UK yet? That is a seriously twisted episode, but I still laughed and laughed. Other faves include the Mexican Staring Frog Of Southern Sri Lanka, and the whole lampooning of talk shows (easy target, I know....), the Chickenlover one (Officer Barbrady can't read), as well as the Rainforest episode with Jennifer Aniston as the naive schoolteacher leading the kids on a tour of the rainforests.

That one when Cartman thinks he's a Vietnamese prostitute named Ming Li and keep going "Ten dollar! Ten dollar, soldier boy! Sucky-sucky!"

There's a few:

  1. MechaStreisand and Robert Smith....
  2. The one where Cartman loses his sense of humour....
  3. Cartman's anal probe one...
  4. The poor family with arses for faces...oh wait a minute, that's the same as number (2) isn't it?

God, it's late and i can't seem to recall any more classic ones - they're lurking somewhere!

:D

Cartman Get's an Anal Probe...

Had to dig out one of the South Park tapes; yep, the Chickenlover episode is the one where Cartman and the other boys become deputized cause Barbrady can't read, and they need to control the rioting going on in town. Nice Cops segments on Cartman as the cop on the beat, with Stan's dad telling him, after he'd been pulled over, that "Hey, you're the kid that's been plugging up our toilet!"

Not really knowing what a lesbian was, the guys are on the ground licking the carpet trying to find a way to impress their Subsitute teacher. That scene was a classic.

trey and matt put a lot of colorado in-jokes in the shows--like mentioning local celebrities and newscasters and stores and things. it's twisted that south park actually makes me homesick!

yep. i grew up there, from age 2 onwards. my parents just left in 2000. lived in a small town in the rockies (5 miles from rocky mtn. national park) from age 2-9, so south park is more auutobiographical to me than anything!

I love the one where the boys return the LOTR video. But my all-time fav is the one where everyone visits Cartman's grandmother - Cartman's hilarious and so 10 other Cartmans was even funnier.
