I haven't seen scary beast. It looked a bit plop.
Hibstriker ... did you have an adequate solution for Daniel Darkwind?

sexy beast is brilliant, the title is pants & the sleeve is awful, but feel you will like it.
donnie darko? bit of a tricky one this, apparently the airplane engine falling through the roof chucks our hero into an alternate reality/universe & the only way back is to die (with franks help) in the universe he is now in
course when he gets back it will be under a jet engine, but hey, c'est la vie!
I think I can make head 'nor tail of that. I did think Big D Darko went back to sacrifice himself, the initial engine fall being entirely real and in realtime, the alternative being the fabiration; i.e. when he snuffs it.
Great film though.
Aolng similar lines Mullholland Drive has you guessing. Even more so. Well worth a watch.
Sexy Beasty was on the other night, I should have watched it. I'll dig it out, one of my animals will have taped it.

mullholland even more so & then some, she is the other girl!
apparently you have to look very carefully whenever anyhting red appears on screen on that one - there was a web site with clues on how to figure it out
beautifully shot mind
definitely watch sexy beast - at least twice. language is a bit "earthy" mind, so dont watch if easily offended
& dont watch it if you want to perceive ban kingsley in a nice cudly ghandi way instead of as a mean gangster mofo!
you cant handle the truth, i doubt your truth handling abilities.
but you'll be fine with that

An interesting conundrum, Hustler.
The original Star Wars (EpIV) probably boasted a BC in the billions. The entire Alderaan planet gets annihilated by the Death Star, and the massive Death Star too is obliterated by the versatile farm hand. Add in numerous casualties during battle sequences throughout and you end up with a big number. Give or take one for Obi Wan's undead status at the film's end.
Apparently, as far as on-screen frags go, Hard Boiled was in the 300+ range, making it a real contender.
As for violence towards rabbits, I'd expect Watership Down to rank highly. Fatal Attraction also featured celebrated anti-rabbit activity.
:\pimp3:
... Watership Down inflicts more heartache on the viewer than Hard Boiled Egg, simple because HBE is far too unbelievable, whereas WD is almost real life. (for rabbits). As such, one down in WDown = about 130 in HBoiledE.
You've reached a peak citing SWars and the ultimate demise of several friendly and non-friendly planets, fake or otherwise. Unless someone can recall a film in which the entire universe expires I suggest you win top BC cite 2003. Award yourself 16 bonus points and progress to level 6, an 'end of level gaurdian' is waiting. (you know how to deal with it).
I'm not sure if we ever discussed the merits of Attack of the Clowns? - The Phantastic Meddler was dust on the boys shoe (that's a given), but I was more than happy with AOTC. After extensive playing with our new surround system (comments can be found on some recent links) I am convinced this is George on a real return to form after Howard the Duck (which arguably is entirely a Ste Spielberg effort). Despite a great many of my so called friends 'dissing' the Clowns outing, I enjoyed it, especially the huge battles towards the latter half where big balls where simply shot out of the skyline like conkers falling from trees after being struck by laser cannons and/or the ion cannon.
Do you have tv in Australia or do you mainly stick with wireless?

Huntsman, Huntsman... Again that "Attack of the clowns" monicker! Where's your wit? Call it "Attack of the cluster bombs", for instance! I'm with you regarding Chequered George's latest opus, though...
anyone ever seen Sinbad of the Seven Seas, starring Lou Ferrigno (of Incredible Hulk fame)?
truly terrible and wonderful, all at once.
It sounds good. I've been waiting for new Sinbad films.
Attack of the Clowns wasn't even my idea George I stole it from someone. I liked it.
What about Attaching the Clips?

a rack of nice scones was an improvement on the previous filum, but still not what we want from the spar draws franchise

Huxtable, you know me too well.
I am extremely adept at dispatching those 'end of level guardians'. The strategy is always one of running around in strafing circles, dodging his fire until you discover his weak spot. It's then simpy a matter of concentrating your shots at his bulbous eye OR get in close, draw your electric blade and begin detaching the tentacles, working in a clockwise direction. He will collapse soon after, leaving you to riches beyond your wildest dreams, some apples for your ailing health and free passage to the next realm.
Wireless? Huxtable you really ought to be watching Neighbours more closely, rather than mindlessly ogling and filching out the remaining tube remnants. We have multiplex cinema down here now -- I've heard the local has secured "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot!" for the holiday season. Is it any good?

... funnily enough, I watched this film en route to Los Angeles some time ago. Me and my good friend were headed to meet our pal who was undertaking a guitar course at the Hollywood equivalent of the New York Fame school. All of which sounds typically apocraphyl, but is in fact true. I remember it well, we flew on Continental and I asked the air hostess a rather pathetic question because she looked quite nice and then she just basically told me to shut my teeth; which seemed to go against my expected behavior of American people.
Needless to say the film is shocking, and should really be burnt to the ground in a hole, aka Atari's fatefull 'E.T.' catridge which suffered this particular demise in the mid-late eighties post the Ataric VCS 2600 down time.
And Hibster, agreed, AOTButties is not on a par with The Empire Struck Lucky and as such, big George has yet to prove his innocence post '82.

Indian Bones and the Tadpoles at Noon(1984)?
:\pimp3:
This film was not on a par with the fabulous Raiders of the Sacred Mouse, and on recent viewing it really stank of nuts.
It could be argued that Geoff Lucas was supported by Irvin Kishbanger's fine work on The Ampersand Strikes Backspaces, and as such, leaves Geoff with only Star Wayne as his crowning glory. Could '77 have been his peak?
A fine peak nevertheless.

Yes, I believe it was, unfortunately.
the hairdryer likes flack is surely the best of the three first ones, what was george's involvement in this one?
Originally posted by Huntsman Not seen it, I don't think. I liked American Grafitti though.A.I. is an underrated film.
AI is speeelberg though, not lucas.
wasn't satisfied with the ending to AI, it should have ended once he found the pink fairys liquid.
nice electronic bear toy though
The bear was sensational.
I have mixed emotions about Artificial Interference - I can understand why people agree it is fastile, but I just liked it. It is a romantic film, which I think has gone over some Patrick's heads. I realise it is St. Petersburg and not Jeremy Lucas. Please, allow me some credit banana face.
I've picked up 24 Party Poppers the other day and I'm keen to view this once again, another unexpected yet real treat. I'm hoping The Smiths have been re-recorded and included throughout the film, otherwise I might throw a hairbrush near the vicinity of the screen.
The best bit about A.I. was the fact it ended (with the fairy liquid scene as you rightly pointed out) but then it kept going until Spoonbender had wedged a wooden, flying bird house with a load of blokes from Close Encounters of the Turd Cakes piloting its route across the bleak landscape.
Superb.
I'm surprised SpoonBenefit man didn't put some Nazi's in for good measure, it must be the only film he's left them out of. That and Howard the Duck.

i got me one of those bears for my birthday. at least they tell me it is.
i havent been allowed to take it out the box yet, but i cant wait!
hicky, I can't tell you how many hairbrushes mrs. huntsman owns, and ultimately what mr. huntsman stands on.
There's 'gotta be over 60, some on the surface, some on the tower.

lungscan there is more patti smith in the film than there is the mancunian variety
be warned! (though a steven morris makes an appearance on the deleted scened)
