Seeing as it is Wimbledon for the next fortnight it seems appropriate that a thread is started on it.

Listening to Henman on 5live while at work at the moment, how far do you think he will go?, and what about Hewitt crashing out yesterday! :jawdrop:

As its BBC whats the betting that NewOrder will make an appearance at some point during the montages during the next fortnight.. they usually do for Beeb sporting events!!

Henman will be shown up for the second rate player he is very soon, he had a great chance last year and the year before, but when it came to the crunch he bottled it.

With Hewitt going out yesterday it throws things open.

I think Agassi has still got enough in his locker to win it. Roddick also being a good bet now that he won't have to face Hewitt at the QF stage.

but Don...Pornokova ain't even playing this year...oh, she has never really shown up at Wimbledon at all, now has she???

Interesting note...she has the highest amount of endorsements of all the female tennis players...and she's won how many tournaments????

Kournikova isnt playing this year :(

as a self respecting englishman who knows fuck all about about tennis, all is can say is that i hope tim henman loses as quicly as possible, so all this henmania crap can go away again and we can return to normality. I mean, Henman Hill? what kind of rubbish is that? its not as if he has a chance of winning is it.

at the moment it's latin vocalists.

anna kournikova--the highest-paid 15th-ranked tennis player ever. never understood the appeal, myself. i always thought martina hingis was much cuter.

from a female point of view, goran ivanisevic does it for me. i'd serve his balls anyday! and edberg was my sweetie back in the day.

as for my predictions: even though i dislike him, i think that now that hewitt's gone agassi's in there (although i'd like to be proven wrong!), and as for the women--the williams sisters are just so powerful, i'd put my money on either of them, but most likely the #1 seed, serena.

Simple enough...I'll just knock out a few teeth and learn to skate! Only my crowbar will know for sure! :toothless:

oh...yes..I stand corrected...she has moved on from the hockey playes...wouldn't it be nice if Fedorov and Bure ended up on the same team???

and how the hell has she ended up as a 15th ranked player???she's never won a single fooking tournament as a pro???

Hingis is a cute lassie...but she has a nasty attitude...oh wait...that could be a plus in some circles!!!!

I always preffered Hingis to Kournikova, then one day I seen a similarity between her and a former Celtic player Lubo Moravcik, from that moment on, wanking was never the same;)
