Heard the first rumours tonight on Talksport Radio 1089AM, following yesterday's £140m takeover. From a "reliable" source:

If Chelsea get Vieri or Nesta, or anyone like that, i will show my arse to the pope. this reminds me of last summer when spurs tried to sign rivaldo :D, or, even better, after the 98 world cup when rangers tried to sign ronaldo!

I also quite liked the Shop Assistants, some decent singles, but I never saw an album by them. All Day Long, Safety Net, and Train From Kansas City are songs that I put on mix tapes back then and still listen to today, gonna have to dig those 45s up. Never heard Fatal Charm.
As for the Vapours, I bought both of their albums, but haven't played them in 20 years. They really haven't dated well at all.
Great comment today, given that the new owner is a major shareholder in Aeroflot:
"At least Abramovich has experience of running an expensive and ageing fleet".
Quality. And I'm a Chelsea fan.
