Sa Coma, Majorca. Things to see?

I'm going to Sa Coma in under three weeks, but other trips to spanish places, I've suffered from rude,arrogant and sometimes aggresive waiters who look down on me and my tribe with that dismissive 'tourist filth' attitude. Now I want to know what I can say in spanish to them to get them to be a bit more friendly. Any suggestions welcome, then I can start practising. :wink:

Also, if anyone has been to Sa Coma, anything worth seeing other than hordes of ugly tourist filth!

tell me what do you want to say to them and i´ll translate it for you.

see, i´m not very sociable with these kind of agressive people so i´d say something as "f**k, man!, get that bloody martini i ordered! or i will clean the floor with your dead body!!!!!" :D

and i don´t think that would help, right? :scratch:

Instead of rattling off a bunch of phrases for waiters, here's a little website that may be of assistance (but note that most of the entries correspond to Mexican Spanish):

Had a quick look and this Almeja is going to bed. But definately worthy of further investigation. Thanks :wink:

in spanish (from Spain) "esa blusa que estás usando es estupenda"

Had a quick look and this Almeja is going to bed. But definately worthy of further investigation. Thanks :wink: :lol: those mexicans! i think they´re the only ones that use that word with that meaning. Almeja means Clam.

well, argentinians use the word Concha that means Shell. practically the same :shrug:

suddenly came to my mind the what would be the literal translation for Shellshock! :evil4:

Thanks David, this is proving to be a wealth of information. A handy guide for a tourist keen to get to grips with the language. Highly recommended
