Where is it? Will it be hard to get tickets? What other bands will be there?

I'll be in England at the time so it might be worth making an effort.

I can't really say from their website where is the festival exactly... it's not really done well, but they didn't update it for 2005 yet.

It's in Brittany, North West France. Not sure which the closest airport is but should be doable by Eurostarring it and then another train from Paris.

The pictures on their website might be deceptive, but it looks huuuuuuge.

And, more importantly, very sunny indeed.:thumb:

Damned! That's a poor website!!! Who designed that? How do you find out, where the festival is or how to get there? My french is not good enough, maybe the french-speaking around here could help.

It seems they don't want foreign people to come to their festival...

Strange, your nation didn't need directions twice last century. No internet then.:evil4:

Seriously though, if you have problems like this stick a section in google and use the translator

Well, thank you for that comment... Don't know what to answer, either it's 1.) I'm a bit sick of those comments, no-one can choose where he's born, or it is 2.) give me a tank, and I'll find that f***ing festival.

Sorry about that, no offence meant, Friday afternoon drink and a certain Fawlty Towers episode started appearing before my eyes.

You're right about the information being in French only which is a little odd considering the organisers go to huge effort with transport arrangements, more than any other festival. Theres a link below which should start giving travel arrangements over the next few weeks. There are still sites showing last years arrangements, it seems there were a few trains put on from various locations.

Good news is its only 26 Euros for a day ticket.

travel to Carhaix

Yes indeed! Still haven't figured it out yet:nonono: Can you tell me how to get a ticket, Old Monkey. By the looks of the website i get the idea that they give you a list of towns and shops where to buy them? Can't find any online-ordering possibilities:scratch: Thanks

Try www.ticketnet.fr - they have a link to the festival tickets, and an English option (though half of that is still in French!).

Is that a one-dayer, Tim? What did you pay, and is this thing likely to sell out soon?

It's a 3 day festival, but the Order are playing the Friday 22nd. Tickets were €37.50 including booking fee. It probably won't sell out, but accommodation may be hard to come by. We'll probably need to co-ordinate some drivers for this one and stay a bit further afield!
