Think everyone who was over has posted at some time, bar Gordie and perhaps Wayne (although I know he's a member here). The likes of pompeyorder, Big Clive and Greg Gould don't post an awful lot though.

Flights were probably dearest I've had to fork out so far this summer cos destination was fairly remote. Flew out of Southampton cos Gary and Gordie are Pompey lads and were flying out of there, then hiring a car. Me and the Mrs trained down with Don, from London. Train worked out around 50 notes, flights there and back (we flew to Rennes, back from Brest) were maybe 120-140, not sure, which, like I said, is the most I've paid for flights anywhere this summer. Rented a Gites for a week (although we were only there 4 days, but you had to take a week's booking) for 750 notes (between 11 of us). Motor cost best part of 300 notes, between 5 of us, and then the concert tickets were a paltry 28 euros or something, but we didn't use them in the end cos ATR got 13 of us guest-listed. Gites was so remote we didn't even go out two nights so just holed up and guzzled lots of Kronenbourg! It was nigh on 2hrs walk to get into Carhaix, with nothing in between!
...the rest of us - Greg & Ness, JG, Tim, and myself went via Exeter to Brest, train back and forth to London, but the numbers came out about the same - I only stayed one night though, so the others got more for their Euros!
In any case, wouldn't have missed it...

And of course Jo doesn't post at all, but keep working on her, Greg got there in the end ;)
As many others french fans i was at that Gig. I did a very long trip by car , from East southern France to the rainy Bretagne. I was very excited to see NO once again . The last time i saw them was , three years before, in the Paris Zenith. I've exchanged a few posts with Al Jarvis, on WIM forums, cos i didn't even know NOOL ...Or i'd better say that i found WIM more cosier 4 me, so i didn't try to visit another NO Web site. As usual; as i did in 1989 for the first time, i choose a place on the first row and i was almost in front of Hooky. I did some pixs that i posted on Wim with a long review. ThIs NO set was very cool. I've been very pleased to hear EGG live, under a pouring rain. At the end of the set i felt very happy an d sais to my wife that they were no longer the "shy" introspective guys i used to listen to with JD and early NO material. This is my opinion today. NO are pleasants and friendly, nice human beings. Not rock stars. This is still one of the reasons that make me one of their oldest fans...
I hope you weren't that little shite that looked like Brian Harvey who kept trying to elbow me out of the way.....if you were, sorry for the smack in the face, but you deserved it!

I'd not seen a photo of Jean-Noel - I have the avatars switched off!
