Great news people, I got a mail from Andy Robinson, New Order's co-manager, and he told me that the band are happy the NYC show sold out so quickly, and that they understand some fans might be disappointed.

And yes, he said what many people wanted to hear, they are considering doing another night.

Stay tuned.

According to the website:

The current capacity of the Hammerstein is 3700

What is the seating arrangement at the Hammerstein? Any good pubs or restaurants in the area of Hammerstein to meet up w/ other fans before/after show?

How about a 2nd show in LA? The Coachella draws many younger fans to its shows - but the older fans who have been New Order followers for 20 years will miss out (venue too far and too much time - especially if you have kids) A 2nd date that actually is in Los Angeles, I guarantee, would sell out....

That's a good size venue to sell out so fast. Nice work New Order

Not surprised that NYC sold out. A second show would be great. But what would be better would be a second show in the midwest area. I haven't been following the Aragon too closely - is it also sold out? If it isn't, I'm a bit surprised. But on the other hand, I haven't seen any marketing of the Chicago show in Milwaukee.

The floor is General Admission and then there are two levels of balconies. Both of which are general admission as well, buy your ticket has to be for that section. I almost always get GA seats, cause I'm getting older and I just can't stand a whole show in a crowd much anymore. I'm only 30 but still.........

Still think they should play DC or Atlanta!  But if the 2nd new york show is after the first one I might be able to make it.  I sure hope so!

New Order needs to do a real concert tour like Depeche Mode or The Cure, not only a few concerts like that. I'm a real fan, I have my tickets for the NYC concert and I'll travelling 8 hours from Canada to be there but I think that they have to do more. Imagine if their new album is a bomb in the US!!!

They don't sell out Oakland and Chicago, what makes you think it's worth to travel elsewhere?
