If they add a 2nd NYC show, I bet you'll be able to get tickets for the first show from the brokers really, really cheap a few days before. This is exactly what happened recently when Interpol played a couple of nights here in DC and then a third show just an hour away in Baltimore. The DC shows sold out before the events were even widely announced (and boy was I pissed!). Ticket brokers grabbed many of these tickets, yet a few days before the show they were letting the tickets go for as little as $20, well below face value. All those people trying to make a profit on Ebay may get pretty desperate too.

Here's a broker who has tons of tickets for the NYC show, all priced at over $100. If New Order adds a 2nd show, check back here around May 1st and see what the prices look like then. I hope New Order adds a second show just to screw over these guys!

I logged on at 11 am and ticket master did not say they were sold out and as such I messed around for 2 days trying to get the tickets.

Ticketmaster totally screwed me over. They told me tickets would go on say april 3. Only to arrive home from a party and told that they went on sale april 1, and were sold out. I was so upset. Last time i saw new order was 16 years ago when i was 12. It was a good thing i went to this party because i met someone who had hookups. I bought 4 tickets for $225.

memo to new order By playing one show in new york city, you make a lot of scalpers day.

The floor is General Admission and then there are two levels of balconies. Both of which are general admission as well, buy your ticket has to be for that section. I almost always get GA seats, cause I'm getting older and I just can't stand a whole show in a crowd much anymore. I'm only 30 but still.........

Me neither, but it's fookin New Order, so I'll do my best and SUFFER.

And I doubt the crowd will be full of teenagers...

It goes both ways - I am going to have a hilarious time trying to rock out with people almost twice my age!

Nope... you have to understand that New Order's management is very busy these days, so it's long before I get an answer...

I agree, it would be hard for me to be in a seat and not want to be right up front. I guess I would take whatever the gave me considering how quickly it sold out.

On behalf of Mr J......no, not yet. We are still ticketless.

Sure we'll sort something out. I hope.

As Mr J. Giles said, there won't be a second show it seems.

Too bad for this, I wonder what went wrong, but it's like that... :(

It's too bad to hear that the 2nd show isn't happening. I was going to seriously consider traveling to NYC for the 2nd show.

Based on the scheduled US dates, it looks like they had a narrow window for any US tour dates and maybe simply couldn't find another venue that worked for them in the time frame they had.

Or perhaps the workload of playing bass and DJing was too much for Peter Hook and he vetoed another NYC show :D
