Er, but then this is the view from my spare room window on a clear day (where I'm typing from at the moment) so it's not like I have to go far (er, that's Ally Pally on the hill, for those who don't know!).

Had I known NYE 1998... Could've stumbled back to Al's for top ups!

:\pimp3:

Yeah could do with some more info especilally...

what time are NO on ?

What time does it all finish ?

WTF does smart casual mean?

Ive gotta decide between tube / train and driving so any info on timmings would be most useful.

exactly! yes transport is the issue, got to figure out how to get back to mancland. And getting there too- I'm hoping to sly out of work early, but i don't mind missing Alanis Morrisette. And yes the dress code thing is rather bothering me too.

Smart casual is "no grunge, but no whistles either, somewhere in between". The TV people won't want anyone looking like a sack of shite, not that anyone would!

Doors open at 6pm is it? It ain't gonna be a late one, or a particularly long one, I wouldn't think.

Getting back: Coach. How far is Ally Pally from Victoria?

You could walk it in maybe 1.5hrs. :eek3:

Alternatively, there's a bus which runs from outside AP all the way to Finsbree Park tube station, from which you can get the Vicky Line all the way through.

deffo going then liam? let me know when you've booked the coach, and I'll get off my arse and sort it out too. I'm going to beg/plead/offer sexual favours to my boss tomorrow to try and get the day off after brixton, so I'll give you a call when I know the result.

looks like there will be a few of us heading to victoria for the coach then!

WFT is "downtown London"?

You have to understand that my knowledge of London is limited... here when they talked about it, they said it was done in the "centre-ville", aka downtown.

Lost in translation again I guess..

So if we are standing up and all the posh people are sat down and we can't mix what it will be like? Sounds like we are in a pig pen, I suppose there will be more than just us few standing?

In the usual TV cheesy style will we be cued to act over excited when they come on??

Is that for sure, Al ??

Seeing these Brits type things before, they have the great unwashed down the front.

I'm very tempted to get myself an £80 seat, but it won't really be the same with you lot standing at the back. At least if you're down the front I could see you all going nuts :\ohwell:
