Ooh how about a nice gold clock???

Monty, I'll see what I can do....Actually, any Swiss chocolate won't make it back to Blighty 'cos I will probably scoff the lot before I get on the plane! :D

Life in the suburbs heh? Oh, and as a plus, if you are any good at bookkkeeping, and I mean 'GOOD' you can stay for an unlimited amount of time! How does that sound? PS I am a good cook!

Wino, thanks for the offer mate. But what the hell makes you think that I want to come and live in Brum-Brum land again? (OK, you're not strictly Brum, I know) I've just escaped after living there for four years! You may have your Louis Vuitton and Selfridges but I mean, it's never heard of delicious oatcakes, everyone has weird accents (alright, Bab?) and no decent footy for miles....Tsk.

Plus, I'm shit at book-keeping

After the Corby bhoys have finished with you at fitba i'd say at least a couple of months. Gertcha. :D

I can see an executive decision being needed on this one eventually....or we'll be sitting here in a year's time discussing where we're doing it in 07.

TBH, later in the year suits me just as much as April. And there's every chance I'll be a very sick and sober chap about april time (or any fookin time).

Put me down for "don't fucking care, as long as it's not january. just tell me when"

I'm lost with this already? What's the venue for? Digital and/or Re-order? I thought the only suggested booking was a fitba pitch, and you can do that at a minute's notice. Beyond that I thought this was, basically, a piss-up of epic proportions.

Several bands (of which Digital and Re: Order will be but two, as Flight also want to play, maybe the SNSS and Jack's band as well) and some DJs. It'll need careful managing.

The other aspect is that if there are 100+ people descending on Manchester for the same purpose, some of whom may want to stay in similar locations, we can research the student accom. availability, which will be there in April and August. Makes it all cheaper and gives us more beer money!

So you guys are defo up for doing this full on.

I think I was starting to get cold feet and think "let's just do a disco-plus".

Full on's OK by me, but it will have a bearing on cost and labour :)

I don't think 100+ people descending on Manchester is a problem. Remember, 60000 out-of-towners descend on that part of the world every two weeks to watch 'their' football team play!

Just make sure it's a weekend when United aren't around cos it's a mare getting hotels otherwise.

Can we invite New Order to their day?

Perhaps they're interested...

Hence the proposed choice of date (they are at Spurs) and the plan to try and use University accommodation for two nights, at a fraction of the cost during their fallow period over Easter!

Already thought of, hopefully it will come off. Plan to invite Jack's band to play, may lure the old man in to see them ;)

Well, we'll have at least two bands playing JD/NO songs, with DJ/DJs playing NO songs throughout the day. At the same time, a 5-a-side footy tournament will be happening on a neighbouring sports centre pitch, and the ale shall flow.

Yeah well that cunt's not TOUCHING my bass OK! :D (Lie of the century..."would you like to play MY bass mr Hook"...and pull the fucking cat from shrek eyes at him)

Actually, love to see our Jack there, but I dunno, if I were in a (heard of)band, the thought of spending an evening in a bar with a bunch of my fans, many of whom will be uncontrollably drunk, would not really appeal to me. doubly so if they were intent on slaughtering me tunes.

Jem dearest, as long as you don't mind dancing near the sound desk, or dancing with a man with a large bit of wood (round his neck ya filthy bugger!)....you've a reliable dance partner all night :)

For "Easter Bank Holiday Monday" read "Easter Saturday".
