Same set as athens. the bouncers were CUNTS! steve, the most polite man out of all of us got thrown out after 5 songs for being on the wrong end of the row of seats! That ruined it for me £42 down the pan for him!
Thanks to hooky 4 trying to sort the bouncers out for us (threatened to pull the gig!) & thanks to them for throwing me out at the end for trying to talk to andy liddle (lighting man)
Rocket mick got thrown out for dsncing too vigourously (yeah i find it hard to believe as well, he's a big lad!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
ps went to 2 nice weddings after the gig!

Three rows from front last night - FANTASTIC! Felt a bit sorry for that woman in the middle of the front row who wanted to sit down with her kids through the whole gig...
Bouncers were wankers, but how cool was it when Hooky told them that he'd walk off stage and leave them to deal with "the consequences" if they didn't pack it in? What made it even better was when the guy in question went off in a huff!
D'you reckon that the start of BM was meant to merge into TPK? Hooky and Bernard looked surprised when THAT drum beat kicked in... Ceremony was just awesome.

Top day out, met fookin loads of onliners, will do a proper 'blog' when I recover. Great craic in the Slaughterhouse.
The gig was ace, Corby Order managed to dive into CC down the front. My brother was thrown out after three songs for smoking 
So cousin Stubbsy left with him to keep him company - what a fucking joke!!!
New Order were magic - Hooky threatened the bouncer down in front of us, exactly the same set-list as Athens as "Sharon" mentions above. It was so fucking good to hear TPK again. Twas weird not being crushed to buggery but we still managed to jump up and down like mad eedjits. Other than the security issue the band appeared to be enjoying themselves and by all accounts a very polished set. I think :D
As Sharon also mentions we all got booted out at the end, by both the security and police, dunno if anyone managed to get a set-list as we were thrown out in World Record time. Nearly forgot I managed to get an £80 on the spot fine for being pushed by a 6ft policeman. CUNT. All I said was "Don't push me you fucking wanker"
Everyone was pissing themselves as I got lead away for my details to be taken. And a big thanks to Lucy, JT and Al (I think it was them) who arranged a collection and got £60 for the CORBY 1's fine

Top night to be fair, even though security were dickheads. There was a bit of a comedy cat and mouse chase between some guy and a policewoman and guard that lasted for about a song, but i think they eventually got him Highlights were YSF and TPK for me, and Bizarre Love Triangle sounds awesome live, as did Krafty, very impressed by those ones. Cheers to Ally, Nick and everyone else - great first gig roll on Blackpool!
No bother Shug, going back to the late seventies it was a regular arrangements by the skinheads on Lowfields Terrace, who didn't give you an option about coughing up. Thanks to all who contributed.
Given that the management obviously knew the problems caused by all seater venues (After the 87 fiasco they Wembley now has a standing area for this Octobers gig) they must accept some culpability in the sorry affair. So, Andy Robinson if you are reading, he's still a few bob short.
Both security and police were out of order in the way they managed the event.
On the good side, one of the security was saying "after what "he" said they won't be allowed to play Liverpool again." Excellent! I can't think of another reason that would get me there.

There was one lad who pushed a security guy and then scarpered down one of the rows .Security were trying to see where he had hidden and then to my disbelief some cnut behind me pointed him out to the bouncer,what a wnker

you see thats your biggest mistake. My cousin is a rozzer and she has said she can issue an on the spot fine to someone who has sworn at her BUT she can't if they call her a pig. What you should of said is "Don't push me you pig!".. and they would of been powerless 
of course the twats who made up security at the gig would of probably thrown you out for health and safety reasons 
Apart from the cunts on security the gig was fantastic and they didn't worsten my enjoyment, it was my first time seeing the band and they were fantastic. Personal highlights were the JD tracks (would of loved to have seen "atmosphere" - but beggers can't be choosers), "Bizarre Love Triangle", "Blue Monday" and "The Perfect Kiss".
Although I was only getting over chicken pox, I'm so glad I went, I had fantastic seats 6 rows from the front stage right.
Now I wish I was seeing them at Wolvo....

A fantastic night & great to hear a couple of "new" Oldies ! Apart from Hookies Bass sounding like a twat for a while ! The sound was excellent & even the Bernies vocals sounded spot on. Seems as though he has toned down the whooooping. I was sat back in the tiered seats, but can someone tell me whether BS has lost weight cos he looked fit as f**k from the back 'bopping about' !! And thanks to the Adelphi for having an electrical problem and putting us into the 'Thistle Hotel', upgraded to the the penthouse with free taxi's * car parking thrown in + only ten minutes walk to the venue. Extra bonus cos it looked a proper shithole. Bumped into some nice folks during the day, so top marks to the scousers......... very friendly people & wicked sense of humour !! Looking forward to October & my first local gig since Sunderland '83'.

When he started going on about K-klass i thought they were going to do Ruined In A Day as K-klass of course did the superb Reunited In A Day remix of that.Did k-klass ever do a remix of True Faith?

loved the gig as always, with 24 hours as well (not 24h pp as barney wryly commented)
wouldnt bother me if new order were banned from the city. friendly people, but those "yella jackets" as hooky so eloquently called them, were complete tossers. we were about the row behind the so called vip seats. great view in front of barney but I thought youd be able to dance in the aisle. until i was told to get back and dance in my seat. tried again and had a "polite" go at a bouncer when told to get back again. i told him to sort all the other people out and i think thankfully to hooky and the jackets losing control of the numbers they grumpily retreated.
what was all that nonsense of our finest constabulary sticking hallogen beams into the crowd and filming??? a no gig is hardly an anarcho-terrorist meet up.
perhaps it should be. cheers to new order. next up for me and my dearest is blackpool. top venue to dance away. and if you wish to sit and have a view from the balcony, then you can. will not do the pops again. a great gig despite the jackets

Another problem was that the Bar etc refused to accept my money as it was Scottish notes despite the factor it is legal tender. As I had travelled down on the day it is all that we had and they refused us passout to go to a cash machine..... So a whole gig with a hint of a drink !!!!!

I had an absolutely amazing day yesterday, met so many people. I thought it was the best meet-up ever, we filled the pub! I arrived at my hotel at about 1.30 and was pacing my room waiting for somebody to play out with. Luckily Al, Nick, JG, Wolfram and Pompey Order weren’t far behind. We went straight out to the Slaughterhouse in the centre.
Ness was already in there (with a Viking tattoo) and Greg. It soon filled up, Lucy Jane (with half a tattoo), JT, Monty, Kershaw, Uncle Liam, AgentWood, Dave Legge, Midnight Blue, Marc, GaryMac, Fradders, GlasVegas, PHD, Shug (thanks for my badges – I love them!), Old Monkey, Baldrick, John Sludden, Aberdeen Order (well Royster!) Lunatic Fridge and his son Ethan, ChrissMari, Julie and German Order who had a good turnout with matching New Order away strips! (Forgive me if I’ve missed anyone out). Bonzette and Barney Army arrived fashionably late, as did Diamond. Still, better late than never eh?
Special mention to new Chorwich Order buddy Rocket Mick (who couldn’t keep his clothes on – exhibitionist – still, with a physique like that, you’ve got to flaunt it!). I nearly went cross eyed when he walked in with Diggy Mike and Johnny all in beautifully loud Hawaiian shirts! If I blink now, I still have the imprint of the shirt designs on my retina’s.
Oh and thanks to Big Twat Clive who asked if he could borrow my phone then proceeded to text random numbers on my phone pretending he was me and asking if I could lick their bum – I can’t wait to face my boss tomorrow! You will pay boyo, revenge will be sweet!
Me and Monty got told off back at the hotel for doing rolly polly’s in the corridor. I woke up this morning with a swollen ankle, two fresh bruises and I’ve lost a nail, sign of a good night out!
The gig itself, apart from the bunch of security wankers was brilliant. Hooky handled the situation brilliantly – respect! One of the security staff caught me flicking V’s at him and so he kept coming over asking to check my ticket and scowling at me – dick head.
Me and Bonz were rioting in the aisles, especially when TPK came on. I think I must have lost a stone last night! I’m amazed I could even speak this morning after all the singing (well, er shouting) I did.

However you are right about seated venues. I think New Order and The Who have been the liveliest bands at the Pops this year so it was obvious that there would be trouble. Saw it a mile away.
Me and Al ( not Jarvis ) will gladly clear Shug's remaining bill. I'll email him in the morning.
Can't believe the hoo ha afterwards. Merseyside police are renowned knob heads anyway. Waste of space.
I doubt New Order will play Liverpool again. It's been five years since they last played so that will take us to 2011!

PHD your lovely friends were the only nice thing about Liverpool for us. So please don't take our dislike of your city personally. JT has never been keen but the WPC outside told me to remove him otherwise she would arrest him (for talking I assume!!) It was plain to see that Merseyside Police were not running the show and doing their jobs. It was the gorillas in yellow that were really in charge.
On a more lighter note, what a fantastic piss up, great to meet all the usual suspects and to meet a lot of new ones. It is always a pleasure to be amongst such lovely people and have a right good laugh and of course a right good bitch. Tim especially knows what I mean!!!
Looking forward to October and especially miffed that JT and I can't make next weekend.
Not many people seemed to have cameras this time, what's all that about then!!!
P.S to Bonz, will we ever get chance to talk for more than 5 minutes without being whisked away by men!!!
