Same situation as you Martin - need to wait for funds to clear before booking this one. Sure it will be a laugh though.

I'd be going by train then perhaps staying over...

Already bought me ticket before the Wise announcement, sod's law really. I'm gonna train it down that afternoon, stay overnight and head back straight to work in the morning. Will try and negotiate a good hotel deal, may be able to get more than one room if people need a crashpad!

Looks like it's 10:10pm - takes 3 fcukin' hours to get back to London in the evening! :eek3:

Just under 2 hours in the morning, with early morning trains that run from just after 5am...

There is, however, a National Express Coach that leaves Bournemouth at 3:15am and arrives back in London (Victoria) at 6:15am, stopping off at Heathrow and Hammersmith on the way... Hmmm... :)

as i mentioned before i live in bournemouth and you all know its a resort town with more hotels than you can shake your fist at! so october time of year! on a monday! pretty sure you'll be able to find some cheap accom, and i should know i've been in the hotel game 10 years!

and my thoughts are as long as they play the perfect kiss i'll be happy!

p.s if you have friends in bournemouth get them to buy the tickets! no booking/cc card paying with cash just 32.50, does not sound like much but when i was buying 6 tickets it saved around 25 quid!

I think this may well have to be a goer. Hotels will only be £40-£50 I think, can our man on the ground down there suggest places within staggering distance?

royal exeter is opposite

bournemouth international is 200 yards away

tralee and trouville are 500 yards away

and you can sleep under the pier for free 200 yards away!

travel lodge sounds good but its more like 2 miles away, but it is close to the opera house if your thinking of going to the party after.

and talking about the party who exactly can go? as im not to sure.

I'm about sixty miles from Bournie so might drive down on the day, have plenty, stay the night somewhere and then drive back the next day....depending on how brutal the night was!

If my good friend Chris Nash or any of the London Order need a lift there and back, that's doable in return for some petrol money.
