Yes, that's what i think, too. But there's a problem with the return flight. In the Morning it will cost 0,01 Euro + and in the evening 59,99 Euro + and hotel. If i want to get the one in the morning I have to get the train at 22.11 pm in Bournemouth.

Ouch. What time is it in the morning? Can't you get a dead early train from Bournemouth? I fear at 22.11 the band will still be playing.. .

That coach gets back into Victoria at 6:15am, which *might* leave you with enough time to get back to Stanstead for the flight?

I hope the band will still be playing at 22.11 pm. I can fly with Ryan Air at 6.40 to Weeze (Düsseldorf) or at 7.00 to Eindhoven. But Eindhoven tuesday in the evening costs only 0,01 Euro +, too. But I will first look at a cheap flight at 8 am.

Bristol airport might be worth a look. Think its about 2 1/2 hours from Bournemouth by train and i think they have several routes to Germany.

Thx, Edd. But only British Airways have one flight a day to Duesseldorf. Most flies from Germany in this area go to London.

I have a solution. Here it is:
00.50 Departure with Coach in Bournemouth 03.00 Arrival in Heathrow 03.30 Departure with Coach in Heathrow 05.00 Arrival in Stansted
Costs, including Stansted-Bournemouth, about 40 GBP.

I didn't really think of going to this gig but now I'm wondering whether to go and whether this will be a special 30 year anniversary bash with a special set of possibly Joy Division songs or will it be the same set that will be played at the later gigs in October as I have tickets for the Wembley Arena gig. If it is going to be a special gig/set/night does anyone know if there are still any standing tickets available from the Promoter or Alan Wise etc. and if not does anyone know where I could get hold of one without paying over the odd's on ebay?! Any advice would be appreciated - thanks!!

I am thinking about doing "the big step" and coming to the Bournemouth show. I was thinking to spend the week-end in London and then leaving for Bournemouth on Monday morning. I am trying to figure out costs to see if I can afford it. Anyone has any idea how much the train from London to Bournemouth (including return) will cost? I guess it could cost more than my flight from Italy to London!!! Is there anyone in London who could help me booking the train in advance? Unfortunately my other italian friend Michael De Gier cant join me this time...But maybe if I cant try to organize it and find a cheap soultion I can get him to change is mind...!!! I guess I have to do it quick as we dont know how many tickets are still avaliable for the gig... Any help and suggestion are very appreciated! Bye, Manuel
You can get an APEX fare from London Waterloo to Bournemouth for £17.50 if you buy the ticket in advance, returning the next day.

I've decided to go to Bournemouth!!! It's amazing like this morning I had no clue I could have done this. Anyway got my standing ticket for the gig, got my flight...Now I need the train. Thanks for the suggestion: I've checked and I'd like to get the trains from London Waterloo to Bournemouth on Monday morning at 10.35 and coming back to London on Tuesday morning with the train of 09.59. Only problem it looks like they aren't avaliable for online purchase so I've to figure out a way to get the train tickets from Italy. If anyone is ineterested in the same trains let me know and we can meet.
