He's doing the entire tour. Played some absolute quality tuneage last night. Proper old skool.

JG did go up to him at the end though and ask if Kraftwerk's Computer Love was actually Coldplay!

New Order nearly got me sacked!!

My story of Monday night..

Long time New Order & Joy division Fan, born in stockport, aged 27.

First nightclub - The Hacienda aged 16.

Becomes a crazy manc raver aged 16-23

aged 23 moves to bournemouth to become a responsible father.

Decides to take his mrs to see new order.. astounded at how young I felt amongst the 30 40 y old pill heads at the gig!! lol Had a fantastic time.. loved the gig.. somebody mentioned an afterparty!

someone Gave me a pill and made me dance like a loon till 1am - got sooo drunk I slept/collapsed on sofa.

I then arrived at work tuesday 30mins late unable to walk or see..

got sent home!

Arrived at work on wednesday to sounds of the most annoyed manager telling me to stop behaving like a drug crazed teenager!

Overview of the occasion - what a fooking night!

Thank you new order and thank you new order online.

Still got a job.. head no longer hurts.. happy days!

:-)

Time was getting on, some young lad came over to explain the band would be on at 9, which I found most amusing, as I went and ordered another beer, I also bumped into Dufford Charleywood and his mates from Wales,

Cheers shug you're my new best friend, some "young lad!" now thats a name i have not heard for a very long time..................

That was me, i had just been sent a pic of the play times and thought it may be usefull to those enjoying beer!

When the Vikings are out before a gig, we have an automtic built in clock which gets us to the gig 2 mins before the band take stage. We have mastered it over the years. But Bournemouth was even better, just as we got in the venue Nickos Kingos was being served and got me and Jarvo a pint, we got to the front literally as the band took to the stage. Now that's magic

Well done, i got to the front just as "hey joe" started, but i'll get the time'ing mastered as long as they keep playing!

Bit late I know, but just to say what a brilliant night again. I thought TPK was a bit lame, but that's what New Order is all about - the rough with the smooth.

Thought for a change I would stand towards the middle and actually watch. These bruises I've got tell me that din't happen.

To the new faces I met - good to meet ya. To the familiar faces I saw - you're still mad bastards.

Next up for me Wemberly - wish I was doing more, but such is life.

Tis some sort of species memory or something, because yous passed it on to me by only my 2nd gig. I arrived when Tour De France was playing. Was told to act wise and get rid of my coat by Jem, did so, and was wandering back when the intro tune came on, never moved so fast in my life. Loved the arrangement whereby I walked in the door, right to my preferred spot at all gigs, in front of the stage left speakers.

EDIT: BTW Shug, you dived past me about 6 times on beer missions, and every time I thoght "better say HI", Hooky made another noise with his bass and I forgot, sorry man ;)

Dunno if this is the right thread for it but sounds like there aint much common sense in Bournemouth.
