Crowd were lot more up for it than on Monday, mostly down to the atmosphere created by the venue and the mad geordies 
The band seemed to be a bit more into it as well 
Lots of piroetting by Barney during Guilt - harking back to the CITP days of old, and after they finished the song he sought approval from the crowd said they were really nervous about playing it live for the first time!
Alas, I couldn't be there (and my ears are "still" ringing from Monday) but it sounds like you all had a ball. Hope they keep GIAUE on the set list for the rest of the tour. Cheers

What a fantastic night! The Newcastle Academy is one of those ideal venues for the Order to play, tight and compact, a real gig venue. Crowd were really up for it, and so were the band. These Days was even better than Bournemouth, and Who's Joe was far better. Unbelievable to hear Guilt Is A Useless Emotion as well, was fearing the worst when Bernard was handed the radio mic, but no it wasn't Toothache!
Aftershow party was really good too, can only echo what Al has already said about it. Get those photos online Welshcake! I bet Hooky £100 he couldn't stop Bernard whooping in LWTUA (only 5 whoops last night after 6 in Bournemouth, maybe by Wembley we'll be whoop-free!). Sarge was on good form as well.
Pity about the fookin' train back, sunlight coming through the windows stopped me playing Football Manager 06!
Sad I missed it. They had better keep Guilt in - for the song and Bernard's dancing.

What has happened to Dawn Zee? I gather she was a student and her work with NO was a bit of extra..
I was just looking at the set list and it contains 16 songs.
This to me is a pointer to the not so oft changing set list. NO play a lot of the tracks in longer format and thus are on stage for a similar amount of time to most bands but get through less tracks.
Thus, i am suggesting that they stick to a similar list so that they can get the favourites in. [ i know there are a lot more that could get in].
Maybe if they considered shortening the length of some of the tracks [would it be the same to hear shortened versions tho] they could get a couple more songs into the list and thus add some more much desired tracks to the show.

So, what did Guilt sound like? Was it close to the album version? Did Phil Play keyboards or guitar on it? Did Steve drum or play keys on it? I assume Barney wasn't playing guitar then?
Also, how is Whose Joe Sounding?

I dont care about how people bash TF on here, TF is one of New Orders best songs, and it kicks ass live. I really hope that they reinstate TF for the Glasgow shows, since those are being filmed.
I mean, a filmed concert with Guilt, TF, BLT, TPK, BM, LWTUA, Whose Joe, These Days, Transmission, Temptation, Krafty, WFTSC, YSF....that would be worth buying.
Now, all they need to do as put Confusion and Fine Time back into the set.

Quality day out, superb venue and animated crowd, somewhat expected set list but would be nice to hear it jinked around a bit.
Excellent early doors crack, knew that it would be organised chaos as i left our mob in Wetherspoons only to find Alex & myself the only ones in the Forth bout 4 ish. Later met up and enjoyed the pleasureable company of the 'Southerners' (albeit relocated Southerners!)JT exempt! and exchanged good banter - you are a friendly lot.
P.S to the person who asked for a copy of the Shuglet dvd's. Please mail me as i forgot who you are. :)
Well, I had a fuckin ball.....just about feelin normal again now....
Good to finally meet up with a few more heads (Tim , Henry et al), gig was amazin despite havin a seating ticket and some prick next to me getting security on to me and thereby feckin up my tape!
The after show was total class, I was as drunk as a lord and livin it up royally....nice one to all and sundry who I danced with , shook hands with and generally rocked it with!

He went to another place down the road - can't rememeber the name of the place (got the flyer somewhere?), but it finished around 4'ish... Left me with an hour's kip before I had to fly back to start work that same day!
