Good to see you last night Mike, enjoyed the gig, seemed a very polished performance and Temptation was fecking fantastic. Can you put me down for a copy of the gig?

The band were good last night, but I come away a wee bit disappointed with no new/old songs, fcuk knows how many times I shouted for AOC, but I cannae complain too much cos Wembley was magic. I did think the crowd was very disappointing, nowhere near as good as Blackpool / Glasgow / Wembley. The highlight of the night was about 10 of us chanting the Viking theme during the gap between the encore, that was fookin brilliant!!! The pit did get a lot better near the end of the set and the crowd went mental to LWTUA & Toothache.
It was nice to see Gillian back on the sidelines as well.
I am hoping for a gig at Christmas in Manchester and as Al says, I really hope that's not all folks. This tour has been a fucking pleasure. Nearly forgot......massive thanks to Ness for sorting me with the Viking Theme Dance Mix. We listened to it on constant repeat all the way home

Can't get over the loss of These Days - would have been a good end to the tour as it's certainly been my theme for October.
Overall a cracking month.

Cracking weekend, top night at Wolves. I was so knackered from Wembley and NOOL day that if I hadn't been skint I would have got the train home. SO glad I didn't, brilliant to be down the front with Lorraine and John (in our rightful place of course) Thought the crowd was a bit tame to be honest, some people next to me were dancing!! How can this be if you are by the barrier, if there's space to breathe then you have too much room!
Anyway, thnks to all the usual suspects (and some new ones) for making the weekend so fabulous. Quite upsetting really to think it will be a long time before I see them again, Ness and I were nearly in tears (sad but true)

For what it's worth, I really enjoyed the show: obviously, having missed THE BEST GIGS IN THE UNIVERSE EVER at Newcastle and Wembley I don't know what I'm talking about, but it was marvellous to see them back in the Midlands for the first time in, what, 17 years??!!?? Christ, I was even back home before midnight.....
If anyone one the 'inner circle' grapevine could drop me an email to let me know just how long they're planning on pretending to split up for this time around I'd be grateful: wasn't somebody making positive noises about a return appearance at Manc vs Cancer early next year????

sounded good i thought. wembley had a better setlist but this one was still really good.
bit gutted to not be going to brazil or argentina but oh well

Not bad, preferred Newcastle and Wembley, but would put this one joint 3rd with Blackpool. Much better sound than Blackpool though!
Nice to chat with you Tim and well done again on the fundraiser. I'll hopefully make next years!
The general consensus was that Wembley was better, but it was a good concert anyway. I really enjoyed it.

Suppose it must be where you were stood for the first half of the gig. Thought you were taking this piss last night when you said this, the atmosphere up front was really good throughout- really packed and as Gary said plenty of big lads up for it. Upstairs looked quiet and the sides were downright miserable and awkward when a break was needed, but up the front it was probably the closest to an eighties atmosphere since, well, the eighties!
