Setlist: Wolverhampton

Just got back to Canada, too jet-lagged to think straight, but had a great time, both Wembley and Wolves were fantastic, my sister and i had a great time, and hope to do it again someday soon, hopefully in North America next!

it was nice to meet some of the Vikings, especially John Knowles, J. Giles, and of course Nicos Blancos. Nicos says that we and Jeff were the only North Americans to make the trip, can that be so?

I'll write more detailed account once I have had some sleep that doesn't involve sitting in a chair!

No, at Nool Day I spoke to a guy from Boston, USA. A top lad, but I can't remember his name at the moment.

After the ticket swap with AnchorGirl we stayed for one more drink in Yates. Got to the venue bang on 7pm just to make sure the tickets were legit and AG hadnt been conned off eBay.

As soon as the ticket attendent had checked our tickets he was quick to remark "Restricted View" however it has to be said the only things that were blocked by the huge speakers were the autocue and the occassional Hooky forray to the far right. Felt strange to be sat down and sober at a NO gig however on the flip side being side on to the stage gives a different perpective to it all. Spotted quite a view of you down the front from up in the heavens (Not surprisingly Ness).

Highlights for me were an almost perfect Ceremony, epic sounding WFTSC, Who's Joe for its tightness and an almost whoop-free LWTUA. Shame These Days was dropped though. Highlight for the Mrs' was a wink and a wave from Hooky and TPK / BlueMonday megamix .

I captured a some of the setlist on the Mrs' Vid-phone and also the quality of the pit...you football hooligans in there did your cause no harm, especially during LWTUA. I will post some of the MPG's up here when i get chance.

Personally I thought it was a great gig, much better seeing them in a proper venue instead of a muddy field or aircraft hanger! The beer is cracking in Wolvo aswell.

The crowd did seem a bit muted to begin with, then again it was a Sunday night. Sunday night gigs should be banned by law.

Anyone know if there was a tour T shirt available earlier - they only seemed to have the same old ones on the merch stall?
