Yeah, I thought the crowd in Blackpool were more up for it. Sounded good though and I thought the venue was superb.

Met Mark again (Johnny Giles) and said a quick hello to Shug. Jem came over and introduced herself too. Got a couple of badges off Al Jarvis too - cheers!

Had a few drinks with Tim, Ricardo and some other guy and his missus (can't remember his name - sorry mate!) back at the hotel. I've probably gotta apologise, not sure what for, but we must have been off our heads...!!!!

EDIT: Ohhhhh, and Rocket Mick - it's not a lie, he really is a fucking legend!!

I thought the crowd was fairly lively - to be fair I thought Temptation was great. Having only been at this gig though I can't compare. I got a lot more battered at the Manc Apollo last year but then again I was even more shitfaced than last night :D

I thought it was quite good. I left before the encore but TPK was the best time i've heard it out of Four. Out of the five gigs I've been to, last night was probably the best, no great achievement I know but what can you do? I was in a surprisingly good mood, had a laugh with most people.

Had a proper chat with Maya and she has much better English than I do. Nice to meet Jeff even though I had no idea who he was when he introduced himself. And of course the usual crew.

Special shout out to young Sam, Johns Son, who experienced hsi first New Order gig last night. Lets hope its not his last, because after last night, and the reports from Wembley and Newcastle, the band just *might* have a live future...

Suppose it must be where you were stood for the first half of the gig. Had a fantastic night with the fabulous New Order.

Tried to swap t-sirts at the end, like in your football soccer. Miserable man in lovely old Run 2 t-shirt was having none of. I gave him fantastic FAC383 badge and he didn't hit me, so that was okey dokey!

Could have murdered an Indian this at the end of the night, but had to make do with stabbing a Brummie cabbie who wouldn't shut up at five o'clock in the bastard morning when I've got a raging hangover, no sleep, and a bastard runny-nose cold.

Well, I felt like stabbing him.

Thought it was an exceptional gig to finish on. Liked that fact that it was smaller than Wembley and could get closer to the stage. Due to gawping at the stage relentlessly from the front for three days saw as much of Jack as I did the rest of the band

• Nice to have a chance to chat with Hooky in the hotel even though I rudely forgot to say thanks for the CD!
• Forgot to say that it was good to meet you finally Spotnick - look at what you have created!! - hope the £30 made sense in the end!
• Fought my way to the front to find myself stood next to the same guy as I was at Wembley! Hello to Frank from Hawaii if he is reading.
• I thought it was Gillian's sister on the sidelines rather than Gillian??
• Bernard's dancing repertoire now seems to include a few rapper stylee fist shakes. He must have been watching too much MTV with his kids
• Enjoyed 'first from Wolverhampton then to Spain'! Although confused as to how he fitted in all those syllables?

Do feel a bit sad that I won't be seeing all those lovely friendly faces again for a while (or ever as Al said):( It was amazing fun.

Yeah but you'll be seeing me loads of times in the meantime, so surely that should keep you happy?

Morrissey in London might actually be off, Manics are playing the Apollo the same night, which would just be a lot easier. Currently taking the matter under advisement.

its been said before but another triumph form a band "due to retire".icame into Yate's and saw some of you but got there at around 8 is so after a pint did not have time to say Hi.

Not bad.Watched the gig from further back for a change and didnt go in the moshpit which did look rather quiet at times ,perked up later on though.Great venue .Atmosphere ,Who's Joe ? and TPK were highlights for me

Didn't see anyone as I came straight from work, stopping off at a Scream Bar on the way. Made it to the second row, some girl in front started hitting me because she was getting crushed, how about telling the others that were pushing me forward? You can't just stand at the barrier with a stone facial expression, it's New Order, ffs. But yeah, the gig was ace. Glad to hear no whoops in Atmosphere. Shame there was no YSF or These Days [yet to hear the cover], pretty much a standard set. :/

Anyway - I got Greg with the "what's on your shirt" gag - thought nobody fell for that one any more

I strolled right in, up to the front, and bailed backwards by stages almost instantly, finally settling just right of the sound desk before they came on.

I have to say, from there...it was AMAZING....the sound was great, bit quiet back there maybe...and I could at least hear Hooky without knowing what I was listening for, unlike Wembley. And the crowd was great, rammed right to the back...with people looking like everything from escaped Slade members, to 16 yr old girls, singing and pogoing their hearts out to every song......amazing amounts of choral singing too.

Me, I screamed my tits off, danced like a spastic, and was THOROUGHLY entertained.

(worth remembering, I was sick as a cnt at the Apollo, last year, and in B'mouth, and was "iffy" at Wembley...so Wolves is the first NO gig, I've been able to truly enjoy...I don't mind telling you, I cried here and there, and phoned all my infidel mates to demonstrate what real music was)

Another brilliant gig. Ceremony was definetely the highlight for me, probably the best i've heard it live.

Was a bit disappointed that they played no new/old songs, especially as it was the last night of the tour (Sunrise or Leave me alone would of been nice).

Also Hooky's a fuckin' tease, playing the opening of AoC.

Anyway thanx again to Moog for sorting us out with the tickets (nice to meet you).

Here's hoping there's another xmas gig in manc maybe, either that or Moz at G-Mex.

Enjoyed last night (my first NO show for...erm...four years?), but somewhat disappointed that YSF, Shadowplay and These Days all got dropped for the last night of the tour.

I think (certainly true for me and the people I went with, anyway) that the crowd was a bit subdued because the middle of the set was a plodder - a good head of steam built up with Regret and a storming Ceremony, but then every time things got moving again, the next song would be something from WFTSC. Very noticeable from where I was stood (stage right at the side, halfway back) that a bar and toilet queue developed very quickly every time something from WFTSC got played.

Anyone know who the support band were?

Great atmosphere best livesound heard yet for a NO gig, Hooky poked his tongue out at the missus! we were right up front, nice to meet the Mighty Boosh and Mrs MB too good mad packed crowd great support from rambo and leroy who were in the elbow doves vein

Having seen NO over 25 times I thought this was the tamest crowd I have ever seen. Got to about 8 rows from the front and very few were doing more than nod their heads whilst in the gods I thought Waldorf and Stadtler had taken residence. Got right to the front for ceremony onwards and pace there was certainly more lively - but amazed at the amount of people who tutted or got arsey when those around started jumping etc.

A Manchester crowd would have torn the place down. On a positive note the band's sound was pretty solid.

I thought it was a great gig. Sadly the only one I could make on this tour for various reasons, none through choice. The sound was clear and the band were on form.

I really enjoyed the lack of WHOOPS! and that the "COME ON"'s! were reserved only for Love Will Tear Us Apart, Again And Again At Every Fucking Gig They Do.

I also liked the fact that so few JD songs were played : it didn't feel like I was watching a bunch of old punks doing cover versions anymore.

I don't know where you were all stood but the pit seemed lively to me, not as bad as Reading '98, but certainly livelier than many of the more recent shows.
