regarding Jarv's suggestion-which would of course be superb if they would do it...would you include any JD songs on their live set? I personally thought Transmission may well have been the highlight of their live show.
Seb, Jarvo's acceptable, but plain "Jarv" just sounds 'wrong' to me. Please abstain, there's a good chap!
Have we bought Greenacre off you yet? Watch. This. Space. 300K I heard. You must be strapped for cash.
Anyhoo, Ceremony aside (which, at the end of the day, is a New Order tracks anyways - but some people like to say otherwise) I don't know if I care that much for the JD stuff. I'm certainly not gonna do the whole Tiny Years thang, as reported at recent gigs, because the songs mean Sooo Much to me. They don't. I was 12 (just) when IC topped himself, the likes of Temptation etc mean So Much More To Me than anything JD did. Think after these recent gigs I'd be happy if they went on and did Father Ted's My Lovely Horse, just to hear something Different from the Norm. Think Transmish was defo the best of the bunch though. LWTUA seemed a bit leaden now, and Atmosphere - sadly - is starting to grate. I'm surprised they didn't use Isolation more. I have a friend who is 'Bessie Mates' with Phil Cunningham, and he requested Phil to play said choon, and PC basically said "Yeah, I like that one too - but I have no say in what they play!". Shame that.
