I heard Corvin Dalek's 'Crystal' before I heard New Order's. Wasn't there even a 30 second snippet here at one point? That must've been about 3 years ago?
It featured Barney's lyric over a pumping dancebeat (Temptation-esque!) and must've gone on for a good eight minutes? Floyd's MP3 server is down at the mo' isn't it, else I could upload it somewhere tonight (firewall restrictions here I'm afraid).
I also have a few versions, but I don't know how this one will be different!
It was the PornoClub Mix, but there is also the "Silicon Sex Mix", which features extra lyrics that are not in the New Order version...

Don't the roots of the song lie in Electronic's "Radiation"?. It contains the line "We're like crystal, we break easy".

Since I am like Al Jarvis right now, working at a BANK, there is so many firewalls that asking real audio to work would be asking a lot too much :D
that synth bass at he beginning (dum-dum.........dum-dum) really reminds me of the music in the film 'the thing' :)

(added) didnt realise that this was going on for over an hour. all sounds the bloody same. and in my mind i can just hear the vocal line from 'voodoo ray' over it :)

I know this is a remix of the ORIGINAL version of Crystal, pre-NewOrder, but gosh is the real thing good compared to this...
I still don't get the point of massive instrumental songs with only a little lyrics..
But at least it's different, Bernard sings it differently, so it's worth a peek, maybe even owning it...
Good rave music though :D
I'm a little disappointed it didn't include the extra lyrics contained in the silicon sex mix though...
