I just post in another topic saying that, about 2 years ago, I listened to SLC 12" in a popular radio station, about 5:20AM. In Brazil!! I memorized the time because I knew I would never, ever hear that again on the radio.

The difference is that I was not waking up. I was arriving home :D :beer2:

PS: Do you notice that the best songs are played on the radio from about 4:00 to 7:00AM?? Even on MTV this happens... Or am I wrong?

last week, i turned the radio on while driving to work and i heard 1963 (substance version). that was a great day.

I ran across BLT late one night on an "Eighties" station. Now it turns out they've become a Christian music station (guess that whole "nostalgia for the Eighties" isn't quite ready to catch on)

Gave up on hearing anything decent on the radio a long time ago...:(

at one time, san diego had two 80z stations... they are both gone and hae been replaced by a 60's oldies station, and an altenative rock station that does a cool show 5 nights a week where they usualy play electronic or some NO. i've heard them play "gangster," "v. point," "special," "vivid," and "thieves like us"

What a cool experience. I had something similar when I visited Manchester (I'm American). When the alarm went off the morning we were ready to leave for the airport, "Disappointed" by Electronic was playing. It was like, "Wow, I'm really in Manchester!" I guess you can expect good music to wake you up there, though.

Finished yesterday by watching HATYM. Didn't sleep all that well (surprise) so started today with Turn My Way which has put me right in the mood for the rugby, Ireland now and England later. :)

the song that aroused me from my slumber this morning was FAC 33...the original mix of Ceremony on the wonderful CD that Muffy was so kind to send over...bless that young man, whatever he is doing!!!

I was on my way into work on Thursday morning and what came on the radio but TF! :) Seeing as my local stations never play NO, it was a pretty cool surprise.

This morning I woke up to smoke, ashes, and a fire moving closer to where I live, so I have been blasting NO to pass the time
