i want to know all about them. which basses Hooky used (i think he used the usual stuff), which new guitars Barney used (only the Gibson SG?), which drums Steve used (are they all Roland or just the toms?), even what Phil C used (Gibson Les Paul and? and the keyboards?).

if you want to step into the buffer/effects/new stuff section go ahead. i want to know it all!

Barney used a Gibson 335 by the looks of it rather than an SG, 1959 mark or similar ? Hooky's still got the twin custom Eccleshall basses that are based on a Gibson 335 semi-acoustic bass (complete with about 5 grand of onboard electronics) and a Shergold Marathon still. Never paid much attention to the rest of them, sorry.

at least on 511, stevie is using:

yamaha jungle kit bass drum (either 16" or 18" in diameter) 14" snare (assuming yamaha as well) roland v-drums and cymbals

he has triggers on both his drums and is running both those and his pads into a variety of sound sources, i am sure. people get really proprietary over synthy sounds so finding out much beyond that would be hard.

As spotted in 511, Steve was also playing a Kurzweil K2500 keyboard and Phil was using a Roland XP80.

Phil was definately playing a Les Paul of some type on 511 (I'm at work now, so I can't be more specific, sorry). Plus, don't forget Barney's Rickenbacker 12-string for LWTUA CTB :bear:

She used that on Dream Attack :thumb:

Phil's guitar is a Les Paul custom (just like mine!!).

Steve uses an real snare with the Roland kit but also has a trigger on it so I assume he mixes real and synthetic for snare??

Does Bernard use the same melodica since their early days?

No, he's got a Hohner Piano 27 now, whereas he used to have a Hohner Soprano. Think he's had 4 different ones altogether.
