After hearing and being blow away with the live excerpt of "Confusion" from the 9802 segment off the 511 DVD, I was wondering; Does anyone have a full, good quality recording of this as an MP3? If so could/would/might someone be generous to provide me with a download of this? Purdy please? :)

Sorry if this is common knowledge, but was the whole Apollo show filmed?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide! _

All those '98 gigs featured members of the New Order entourage prowling round the stage with video recorders filming the band's exploits; similar, but more covert, situation at the 2001 Olympia show. At the MancXmas '98 show I recall that skinny guy with glasses and pock-marked skin fropm NewOrderStory (asks a question about why the Order stayed with Factory for so long: I should know who this is, but don't - anyone???) particularly vividly.

Presumably all these gigs were also recorded through the mixing desk, as the footage on the Finsbury DVD would attest - have these recordings surfaced amongst the bootleg-collecting community?

(Inevitably, over to the Oracle): Tim????????

Nope, no mixing desk tapes have surfaced for about 14 years really. There are good quality audience recordings, including ATR's DAT ones of every gig since the 1998 return, but no mixer tapes doing the rounds. One day though.....

The great thing about live versions of NO songs is that Hooky always gets to throw in extra basslines.

I can confirm that Miles did film the apollo gig and that a mixing desk dat does exist, he only edited up one or two tracks from it though as that was all that was needed at the time (and still is). so the footage from various single cameras will exist seperately and the audio but not a complete watchable show (unless one day it's decided to get the rest done)

...I got 'Confusion' live in more than 30 different gigs, and the best one I've ever listened to it, was the Barcelona gig 1984-07-07...

The Saviour.
