Just a thought. I know Tim is a Fall fan probably along with others, but the reason for stating this is that on their official site there is a great link - "Book the Fall" or something like that where I presume you can have them playing somewhere. What sort of money do New Order charge for a gig? Now..imagine..a NOOL "private" gig. Think they would do it??

That's just an email link to their booking agent... right above the link to my email. ;)

Or maybe they can play a concert for their loyal fans: the NOOL board members.
Someone ring them up then?

don´t even mention it! we´ll send them a copy, but if they actually reply or give us any sort of feedback, i think we´ll all drop dead at once! ![]()
Well, I can remember back in 1988, at the university I went to, there were enquiries made to see if we could get New Order to play the May Ball. At the time they quoted £6,000 which was coincidentally the entire music budget allowance for the night. Needless to say we got about 12 non-descript bands who've never been heard of again instead.

Yeah, I tried to get them for Warwick University in 1986 when I was on the ents committee. Ended up with The Beloved instead !
