what happened to the promise of bonus material on the US pressing of Get Ready

Didn't I overhear Stephen saying/promising that in compensation for the agonizing wait of Get Ready for US fans - there would be bonus material of some kind on the new US CD. I was under the impression that there would be CD-ROM content, a screensaver, an interactive discography OR SOMETHING to alleive the seven week wait of the new LP.

Did I hear this or was I just dreaming and if I wasn't dreaming - does anyone know what came of it?

thanks

In response to the situation, I'd recommend that all U.S. fans who haven't already purchased Get Ready (which is probably not that many now, but still) get a UK import copy to boycott Reprise (It really is the same price if you order from Amazon uk). That's what I did. It really makes me mad when U.S. record companies postpone releases, and with the current dollar/pound exchange rate, there is no reason for fans to tolerate this.

Yes, but still, I think the events of September would have changed the destiny of the album.. maybe it's a good thing it was released a little later.

But still, they didn't know (unless we create a new conspiracy implying Reprise Records) so there's no excuse.. at least if the album had the 3 b-sides.. but no!

All major record companies are arselicking parasitic capitalist scumbags who couldn't really give a flying fuck about their artists anyway - I say SHOOT THE BASTARDS........
