Joy Division box set CANCELLED

Just got a message off FAclist from Colin at Vinyl Revival :

'I heard last night fron an associate of AHW that the live 3cd box set has been withdrawn. The label responsible for the release has not applied to liscense any of the live recordings . If i hear anymore news i,ll post it on this site..

For what it's worth, Amazon.co.uk have revised their release date for this item: they now claim it'll be out 8/12/03.

So, cancelled or postponed?????

Better if it was cancelled.I won't need to spend much money for a shirt or poster anymore

Again, the release date on Amazon has been revised to 15/12/2003, and said item has plummeted down the pre-order sales rankings....

I for one am glad it's been canceled as I've only found and bought Preston and Les Bains last month. I'd be feeling really stupid if it was released now.

I was going to get this for XMAS but now i will have to go for something a little bit more exciting!
