Er yes, a pile of CDs for Julio went missing. He still says I didn't send them - I'd send him the post office receipt if I thought it would get there !

Well

Tim missed money and time after sending 5 cds to me.They never arrived here. That's my only unsuccessful case.

Elazaro has been having lots of problems with the post office here.

I have a shipment of contraband due to arrive in Brazil any day now... Maybe the BPO are closet NO fanatics!

It's mainly stuff to Rio that goes missing, that lazy bastard postman has several of my packages stashed away somewhere in his house. Other than that, it takes between two and four weeks for airmail to arrive for Recife. The postman there is not a New Order fan luckily:D

Yes, I did send them, as was confirmed at the time. Will need to go back through old e-mails to give you the precise date.

This is why I've always shipped with delivery confirmation, at least in the US. I've given up trying to ship stuff to South America, simply because the whole idea that mail is supposed to be private eludes their officials.

I have to say - and I'm NOT the Brazilian post office's lawyer - that I NEVER had any trouble with it. I have bought posters, CDs and DVDs from all over the world - US, UK, Japan, Australia... and also the kind itens sent by NOOLers. All of them have found their way to my mailbox safely.

The only CD I haven't got is the one I won in the contest, but that's because Nic never sent me.

Yes, I was warned about it by the postman that use to deliver the packages that I receive from China and Japan, in my office...

But I believe that this not only a Braziliann problem, we can face it in many other countries...

my other half used to work in an Edinburgh sorting office, and you wouldn't believe some of the stuff found in posties' lofts! So far no experiences with Brazil yet, but seeing I'm in negotiations with Emok, I should be able to form an opinion soon

In future, all recordings destined for Brazil will be made available for download from my webspace, rather than posted. That way you are guaranteed to get them.

How come Emok hasn't posted on this thread? Maybe the Rio postman has kidnapped him for a ransom. Then, maybe not...
