does anyone think that NO will play any of the festivals this year?

I just hope they DO NOT do any festivals....what they need is a small low key "tour" of small venues. As I have said before here, the sound and the atmosphere is so much better.

My guess would be Blackpool Winter Gardens Empress Ballrooms or two nights at the Leadmill for the North

And a warm-up at Satans Hollow would be nice

Or maybe they'll just do an end of the pier tour

Yeah , The Leadmill; I can honestly say I've never seen a bad gig there. I've seen a B.A.D gig there in the eighties, had a game of pool with Tim Roth ( who was m.c.ing, liggin, general mate of Mick Jones ) in a boozer on the corner, dont know its name but it seemed almost triangle shaped and had pictures of buses everywhere. Anyway top venue ,Sheffield folk are lucky to have it. Oh seen Strummer as well,another good night

there are west coast rumors or New Order playing Coachella this year with Kraftwerk, the Pixies and Radiohead. Not counting on the Order but seeing Kraftwerk is definitely in the cards.

Good to see the rumours about the Coachella but I ain't convinced about gigs this year. Still, like you say, best we can probs hope for this year is festivals, so fingers crossed that this wil happen. I'm not gonna save me hols up though!!

I believe they will be - rumuor has it they've announced a special one off midsummer's gig in the grounds of Tatton Park in June - and the compere is going to be David Dickinson - "The Antiques Roadshow" indeed! :D
