It's the turn of Low-life - I'll eat my hat if TTON doesn't win - but I may be wrong!

Has to be sunrise.

I wish The Perfect Kiss hadn't been listed here, cos it's not THE Perfect Kiss, now is it? It's just a dodgy edit.

Sunrise for me.

To be honest you're voting for the song itself - not the album version particularly, I agree the LL version is arse. TPK will not be listed again in the singles so if you wanna vote for it do it now!

if it´s not for that edit of TPK... :nonono:

TTON then. it turned to be one of my fav NO songs of all time.

Sunrise - still get that hairs on the neck feeling when the geetars kick in.

I fell in love with "Love Vigilantes" when I first heard the album, and I went with my gut instinct as far as voting for it. But a case can be made for Sunrise and TPK (like everyone keeps sayin, that horrible edit just ruins it for me). :thumb:

It's gotta be Sunrise - fave song off that album and fave song from those mid 80's gigs...

TPK on Low Life is shit compared to longer versions, but TTON and Sunrise are also way up there on the list for me. Had to go for TPK. Didn't TTON win this before?

OK OK I will relist ALL the singles in the singles section. That way we get away from this really arse verion on LL. The Sub-culture on LL kicks the s**t out of the sigle though!

TTON for me. Loved it then and love it now. Arguably the best album-track NO have ever done, the opening sequencer line is still as haunting as ever.

Agreed.

So who's voting for the Perfect Kiss edit?

And what makes it better than the other seven tracks?

It's a mess by comparison!

Sunrise by a nose over Face Up. Love Vigilantes and Sooner Than You Think closing strong on the outside with Sub-culture, Elegia and This Time of Night rounding out the field. TPK was disqualified due to it not being the real thing.

Love Vigilantes for me, but what a strong album Low- Life was!. I think it was that twat David Sutherland of Melody Maker when reviewing the album stated that L.V was New Order at their worst, silly little c**t.

Sooner Than You Think has recently become my favorite track on Low Life

Tough one...had to go with TTON though. Darn you for putting me in that position to choose like that!!:nonono:

I agree though that LL version of TPK is ass!!

It was a toss-up between Sunrise and TTON, I bit my lip and selected Sunrise. Funny how people reckon TPK as the best song ever by NO, but as of this writing, it's not even (due to it being abbreviated from its full glory) reckoned the best track off of Low-Life.

How conveinient, just picked up the Factory vinyl version for 6 bucks this weekend, cover paper has one side split but the vinyl is near perfect, (had the US vinyl and the UK box cassette) so I've been listening to this all week. Sunrise is the current choice then, just barely beating out Love Vigilantes and TTON.

What won this last time we did this? I can't find the poll anywhere.

I've never seen This Time Of Night so popular before!

Mind, Sunrise also came nowhere last time out, I'm pretty sure of that.

What with Dreams Never End walking away with the Movement poll (but then, it always does), Age of Consent leading PC&L (I'm sure it lagged behind KW1 and LMA before) and Sunrise in the running for Low-Life it's like this forum's suddenly degenerated into a collection of head-banging nutters! Brilliant!

I'm going to be different and say Face Up.

Sunrise is angry and I'm at an angry stage in my life. Perfect. Do the people voting for TPK know they're voting for the album version ?

Sooner than You Think. Loved it ever since the BBC Rock Around The Clock thing followed a close second by Sunrise.

Sunrise. Bought the album on its release on old fashioned vinyl, from a place called Smiths ( not W.H. ) in Wigan, I then watched in a combination of horror and anger as the assistant ( a woman in the autumn of her years )set about removin the tracin paper wrapper, whilst all the time sayin that the lad in the back 'should've taken all this off' God knows what she made of ' Sticky Fingers' by the Stones. I digress, sunrise it is. Who specifies the hat ? Got an old homburg somewhere from me Pogue liggin days..needs a pre-prandial scrub though
