Give Barney Some Credit

There seems to me to be to many people having little digs at Barney either what he's wearing or what he looks like. Christ the the lads 45 give him a break and compared to other 45 year old he looks crimanly young. And no, im not bent by the way.

I still think he's quite cool.

He's a cool customer Custard face who cheats age every morning of his life. He must be using Cliff Richards' moisturiser to maintain a 20 year olds head.

There's no excusing his cammy jacket on Later though... phew what a stinker!!!

Do you know that Bernard one 'best dressed man' back in the eighties one year?.. well you do now.

He still looks cool as a 45 years old guy.

But I think if he tries more he would look more stylish :D In Joy Division days, he looked really cool.

... more stylish?.. how is that achievable?... everytime I've seen Barney on whatever live show, tv program or just in my own mind he's always wearing a brand new outfit fresh from the designer shops of the most affluent popping stars!!!

If it wasn't for Bernard my cupboard wouldn't be full to the rafters of blue shirts and ill fitting chinos... the guy's a legend.

If you want to pick on someone choose Hook worker... who used to look mega in his leather booties and freaky drainpipes... now he's starting to look like an extra from kevin and barry go large!!!

Huntsmonkey, you've hit the spot re: Hooky. Looking at the US tour photo's, he's wearing some shite hooded top and baggy shorts which I'm about 8 years too old to wear. At least he ain't still dying his hair blonde I suppose

Do you know that Bernard one 'best dressed man' back in the eighties one year?.. well you do now in all the old pics ive seen of barney, the clothes always look so remarkably un-eighties...no shoulderpads and pastels for that boy. is it true that some menswear designer(cant remeber his name) was inspired by the new order style?

was it gio-goi or whatever it was? Seems to ring a bell although I may be miles off the mark

seb, i know for a fact that there was a recent womans wear collection by some london based designer inspired by the artwork for blue monday/confusion/pcl..but i cant for the life of me remember the name of the menswear designer ..don`t think it was gio goi

yea it was definatly Gio Goi, they were(are?) a manchester born designer label back in early 90's Johnny Marr and 808state used to wear a lot of their stuff.. there was a topic about it a while ago! mebbe when the search function comes around it will be unearthed once more!

Barney may still look smart in most peoples eyes but when he does his live performance thingy, he still reminds me of a little pig, with that little screwed up face: GRUNT GRUNT GRUNT!!!!
