What chemicals are being represented from those bouncing around ball and stick models in the video? One of them looks like some cyclohexane, but the molecules are and are not attached make it an unrealistic molecule.

Damn who knew I could use organic chem to analyze an Electronic video :D btw I have too much time on my hands

the molecular structure is not something that will have figured strongly in the input to the design of this cover. There is a strong resemblance to things that were floating around manchester dancefloors at the time though...

Neither does it look like a compound!:laugh:The ones i had to look at ONLY reminded me of a paracetamol but i had got them off LANCE THE DRUG DEALER from THE BLOB SHOP so they might of been C's or D's.

Who really cares about the compounds? The video is still good. Plus, I never understood chemistry (or physics or biology for that matter).

Hey, I just took a guess :p My friend took a little of the XTC tonight, saw him after he came down, still wearing fuzzy wristbands with a huge grin on his face. Found it funny at the time, but almost anything is funny at an all night diner at 4 am

By the way, by watching the latest PSB DVD "PopArt", I learned from Neil Tennant that the video for disappointed was directed by Howard Greenhalgh who also directed every video of the PSBs for the Very album (among several others as well after those), like Can You Forgive Her? and Go West for instance.

Tennant says that Disappointed was Greenhalgh's first try at using computer imaging in a video, and this is why the PSB videos from Very look VERY similar (pun intended).

And they do look very much the same!!!

I always wondered why Disappointed was my least favorite Electronic video
