I am interested in what collectors of New Order material are interested in!
Is it just the UK releases? Absolutely everything? Promo items?

I look for usually just the US or UK releases of stuff, with maybe the odd Japan or AUS copy as well. Promos are in as well. Decided a long time ago not to try and have everything, especially as I live in a fairly out of the way place where it's not too easy to get hold of a lot of the really rare stuff. Plus, they don't call them 'possessions' for nothing, it's been a long while since my first thought after getting paid was what record I was gonna buy.
There are some things I don't have that I don't miss, especially with tracks I already have: didn't Warners put out a flexi disc during the Bunnymen/Gene Loves Jezebel tour with tracks from all three bands? I do seem to recall that a friend of mine had one, but I wasn't interested in getting ahold of one. On the other hand, I did buy that Debut LP/Magazine thingy with Sunrise on it, even with Tears For Fears on the cover, so I guess I do have my moments of weakness after all.
I don't care where it comes from, as long as its stuff I don' have. I'm also not into collecting 20 official versions of TPK for example. Live perhaps.
I wouldnt mind a "proper" copy of Substance Abuse,i know its not legit anyway but i dont just want a cdr. Ive seen it on eBay a few times but the seller either comes across like Del Boy or they want upwards of £60. I was hoping the DJ only mixes wouldve made Retro.
Well if anyone was at the launch of Music for Pleasure at Dry bar Manchester, they may be in possesion of an album cover signed by Irene or a poster , she signed quite a few. I'd like to pick up at least one, preferably three , my reasons are none-profit related, genuinely altruistic and will be explained to interested parties, off the boards. That said the chances are pretty remote
the box set cassettes were nice as was the hessian still double lp.
we need more interesting collectables,the cdr promos are shite! god knows how much silly money i've spent on those!
the cd car carry cases were unique too ,is it only 500 in the world?
but i still want them all!?
its like anything really,if theres something you are interested in then you'll buy it!

Bit of a completist myself.
My latest mission is finishing off the colour variations of the Procession 7"s. If anyone can help me out with the aqua sleeve I'll be quite the happy one.

I've been looking for Substance Abuse lately... and I wouldnt mind the original version of Vicious Circle (not the Mike Haas version) and the Happy One... weren't there apparently some unfinished demos of this track?? 
Or am I wrong?

The one on the RIAD UK CS right? It was up on ebay a week or so ago. Went for about 5+ UKP.

I recently got my copy of the Heicienda Christmas flexi (can you hear it in the background?) I think that about does me for New Order now....

I just buy whatever I dont already have as long as the price isn't too high. I am hooked (pun intended) and end up having to buy silly things like international and Refractured just to have them...even though I already have the music.
Right now on my immediate target list is SLY Promo (I have a copy that got damaged), InOrder orange vinyl (I've missed out on it twice now) 
and the PCL colored rough trade promo...

Yeah that sounds like it would work...or we could just call/email him pretending to have Hooky's mullet or the phantom Blue Monday promo that noone has and say that we want a face to face to sell it to him

I have a theory that the aqua is the rarest of the official UK colour variants. Not based on anything but my irregular scanning of eBay.

The very same one that I was chasing doggedly for YEARS. That's the only release format on which it appears.
These days they appear on eBay with regularity. You can normally pick one up for a quid, I would've paid twenty I was so obsessed by it a few years back.

if i still had it then I would... however I swapped it for the last one i needed (with johnny giles i think) so no longer have a spare.
do have all 9 colours though :D
the blue monday manual video would be nice. or the 12" of new order the ruler or a little louis or the gold leaf broach promo for true faith
having said that may be time to sell some of my spare boxed cassettes, that gatefold substance, dat of technique etc on ebay...

All i know is he does have these...whether he would sell any of the spares is another question.I try to buy anything with unusual or different covers and versions.The CD-Rs don't really interest me cos they are so DRAB.But VIDA POBRE (LOWLIFE ARGENTINA),singles from POLAND,7 inch BENELUX PERFECT KISSx2,BLT gatefold,SUBSTANCE GATEFOLD,CAR CARRY CASED CDs of MOVEMENT,cassettes from NEW ZEALAND,PROMOS with BLUE CABBAGES(sic) and MINIDISC's of ELECTRONIC are some of the artefacts i own.Together with the JAPAN TOUCHED 3 inch CD and BOXES OF MATCHES from DRY.
But you must get ALL FAC 53's.I believe MURV has one of the most complete collections on NOOL.(14 or so! 
The best unofficial item is the first 16 vsingles on CD in a BOX SET with the ORIGINAL covers made to fit a CD-R.Absolute classic and i believe SHUGZV has one of these now.
