Well has anyone seen the new video for this fucker? - Looks like the inner sleeve of Power, Corruption and Flies all 3D'd up and flying around a cosmic technosphere. Hooky appears similar to the BLT video, blue gel over his face.

Anyway this new remix is shite and highlights yet again the power of the original.

Do you know I don't think I ever saw that one. The year 1995 to me represented the lowest ebb of my New Order following career... it was the year I finally decided to myself that they'd given up. I didn't even realise they'd released a 1995 version. It's only recently I've bought 'The Best Of' and 'The Rest Of'... at the time they were released I looked at them in disgust.

You know bizarrely enough Huntsy '95 may have been the highlight of my NO following career. Before this stage I knew vaguely of NO through WIM / Blue Monday, but had spent my teenage years getting Jiggy to Rap music, such as Public Enemy, Kane, A Tribe called quest, and paying very little attention to popular music.

Then while driving to work in leafy Warwick one evening, I heard True Faith, tried to hunt it down, found The Best OF and decided to take the plunge.

Intruiging that 'The Best Of' which is a truly hap-hazard mixed bag of 'The Worst' variants of some of the songs hooked you in from your rap wilderness. Its usually the hardcore albums that draws people in like PC&L... either way, I'm glad you never got stuck with a load of homies singing about smokin' their hoes.

The song that got me involved in them was SubCulture 12" 1985. Couldn't make out just what kind of song that was, who was singing it and what style of music it was... come to think of it, I feel the same about it today.

I think the 'Best of' Hauled me in, but it was Substance that really grabbed me by the bollox, twisted hard and left me in a crumpled heap on my bedroom floor.

Rap music stinks nowadays. Back in the golden era of the late 80s early 90s a few stunning records were made.

No JW... but I have admired its beauty very closely like a man fixated by a beautiful lady taking a well earned shower between meals. I could not justify purchasing an iPump as I venture most places in my bomber nowadays which is edequately equipped with a cd vending machine and not like the old days which was on foot (both feet sometimes) with a WalkMale strapped around my gusset like a bit of old rope holding my smalls up.

Evidently its quite an expensive bit of kit for what it does... style over content and all that... but surely that's what its all about? (Hey! - you put your left leg in, your left leg out etc.)

I've got a very amiable Sony WalkMale which cost about 120 sheets... I'll stick with that relic for the few occassions I go jogging down the beach avoiding dog turds and horse fettle. Thanks for asking though JW Shop Keeper... makes me warm inside.

Now... about that GameCube...
