I have plenty of time to kill before my next contract in JUNE.I have been having a clear out at THE PLANET ROCKET and have found several great compilations done by other NOOL's and sent to me.Great sounds and a lot of time and effort have been put into these. Now what i am after from you lot is some good advice and suggestions on what you have recorded and compiled for your own listening whilst at home.It is that certain NEW ORDER tracks are best listened to in a certain order. Some of the released material can be spoilt by the odd track that one needs to skip over.I just want to make a few new CD-Rs for my own pleasure and am open to advice on how you have done similar projects.Cheers for your co-operation in this matter.I am just so bored and trying to have a few days away from BEER.:D Rocket Mick:thumb:

Rocket, i've made a killer compilation of New Order material from 98-02 that highlights our Heroes in their second coming (or third coming). Some tracks are from the PreMix Get Ready, Temptation 98, Vietnam, Brutal and many other killer cuts. I don't have it in front of me so i can't give you a full run down but it's the perfect disc to listen to if you want modern New Order sounds. I also made one full disc of True Faith Remixes and one disc of ambient mixes that sounds perfect on a lazy sunday morning.

Cheers for the reply BLT!:thumb:The ambient mix for a lazy afternoon is the sort of CD-R i am after making at the moment.I want something to chill out whilst drinking a beer in my small garden. Then i can challenge my lifestyle and see WHERE i am going wrong,if at all.:DI am listening to a lot of different mixes at the moment but still a long way to go before i can start the recording. So thanks for the idea then and please suggest ANY cool sounding tracks that will merge together well. These can include ELECTRONIC aswell. :smoking:Still havn't found what i'm looking for....

Well if you can include Electronic, then the DNA remix of Get The Message is perfect for that sunny beer drinking day,as is New Order`s Ruined In A Day (k.klass remix).

I've got a nice 16track compilation at home I made for my cousin, which begins with very early NO and progresses right through until latter day Electronic.

I'll bring the CD in tomorrow and post up the tracklist :thumb:

Well apart from the fact that i don't usually make a copy for myself.Just leave them on the computer which is fine until we have a CRASH and i lose all the music files. :D But at the moment GERI i am completely out of ideas on what to record for MYSELF so i thought i would ask around for some NEW ideas. So far a LAZY ORDER CHILLOUT VOLUME ONE seems the outcome.I am just debating what i should put onto this CD-R.Trust you are well and good to hear from you. REGARDS Rocket Mick :smoking:
