Favorite version of Perfect Kiss?

I prefer 'Kiss of Death' as it is in Substance. I don't know if it's really the same one as on the 12" b-side.
...we had this before, brought to us by the marvellous brother Geri...

? Whats wrong with the 40 seconds thats missing from the end...
rare benelux 7" with percussion missing at the start.comes straight in with the synth.or the proper 12"(not the edited version on substance)

that'll be SISTER Geri, if you don't mind :D
Rank of my favorite versions
- Substance
- Video shoot (1985)
- First time performed ("I've got a cock like the M1") (late 1984..?)
- Montreaux Jazz Festival, 1993

? Whats wrong with the 40 seconds thats missing from the end... The extra 44 sec. tends to get a bit repetitive, I think. It has a better build-up, climax, and fall-away without the extra bit.

You are aware Geri is a woman, right? ![]()
are not most of these studio versions (not counting the "live" video) just edits of the same track?
and they never remade, or (as far as i know) let anybody remix it, if you don't count the B side, which is sort of a remix by the engineer to some extent i believe, but they have left this song alone since.
and what about "the perfect pit"? i bet most would hate that if they ever heard it. they shoulda put it on Retro just to piss people off... but I liked that short little track back then...:)

Apparently. It's the band's BEST SONG. ![]()
my favorite version for the longest time was the one from the vid...
but now...it's the I've Got a you know what...
give me a few months...it might change...
actually...my favorite version will be the next time they do it live!!!![]()
Sign me up for the FAC321 version as well, as well as its edit! I always thought the Glastonbury '87 version of TPK was massive as well.

A little harsh maybe
But I do agree. I've never been a massive fan of this song its one of those songs that has dated terribly. No amount of remixing could possibly bring this song up to date! ![]()
