In the car, I've gotten into the bad habit of letting my three under 5 children known whenever "Hooky Bass Monster" is about to cut in on a New Order song. It seems to be paying dividends.
My wife informed me the other day (eyes rolling) she was in a mall where some music was playing (not New Order) and my 3 year old piped up to his brother "listen Callum, Hooky Bass Monster". My bad habits seem to be paying dividends for New Orders retirement fund with recruitment of such young members.
It pulls the heart strings so it does

It's easier to influence them when they are young.....it took me a year or two to convince me mates that the Order were the Dogs Bahollicks.....now the fuckers are constantly coming round and "borrowing" me CD's

To be honest Shug, that won't be happening as I'm, bored shitless with the international game. There's plenty on here who'll be outraged at my lack of patriotism, but I can't reconcile my loathing of 75% of Premiership clubs and the fact that those selfsame clubs provide most of the England squad. Plus everybody in En-ger-land turns into a total dick during the World Cup/Euro tournaments, so I just can't be arsed anymore.
Presumably this wll also be perceived as a bad habit, so not entirely off-topic. Perhaps I should switch my allegiance to the Tartan Army: at least they know damn well they're not gonna win anything, unlike the deluded souls south of the border.....
Last year I took a photo of my son holding my Round&Round 12" (on a "look, it's my dad's nickname here" basis...). Hopefully, one of these days I'll post it here!
