Forgive me if this has been done before, I was watching it again last nite & just wondered what your favourite tracks off the 316dvd were. Unfortunatly i was in "disorder" at the time and didnt attend :( but my mates that did say a hypnotic like atmosphere(sic) came over the crowd when they played Atmosphere. It definatly shines out as one of the best tracks on the DVD

As for lowlights, heart^&soul seems a bit laboured and temptation undergoes an amazing transformation from Barney appearing mightly disinterested at the begin to whooping and yelling at the end! (a bit different from the academy video!)

Personally I like True Faith a lot, maybe because they used this different intro. And I find interesting to have World in Motion live, because it's probably the only time they played it live anyway.

I agree wiht that. World in Motion probably was played only there. I like True Faith a lot but the original versio is much better. I wonder why they not play anithing from Technique anymore. Was this time that bad for them that they don't want to remember.

I too digged up my 316 to view again sometime last week..and this time with few of my mates...and I must say Barney is really embrassing with all those aerobics movement and howling...I prefer the Taras bit. If only I can get my hands on the Academy video...sadly it was never released in Australia in the late 80's, either it was pulled out of release or something...wasn't there some kind of copyright problem with the cover? the Venus?...

I'd suggest you order the Academy video as it is one of my favourites you can see they really are at their peak and playing their socks off in front of a frenzied crowd!

316dvd Barney looks embarrased in taras and looks embarrasing in r'98! he gets right carried away during blt! though he barely moves in atmosphere which is nice cause it certainly is better without the whooping!!

Yes.There was a problem with the sleeve insert.I was working in a record shop at the time and had to change all the sleeves over.Fortunatley I kept all the old and new ones.

How about dezoning your DVD player? I think it's a little legal hardware operation, somewhat easy to do for tech specialist - depending on the player model, of course.

A lot of them you can unlock using a software hack, mines a new model and I found there is a sequence of keypresses on the remote that make it multi-region, have a look on some dvd newsgroups for your particular model.

Hey Chris...any chance of you telling me what's the fuss about? Is it some picture that Peter nicked? Somehow Peter Saville always seems to get caught in these sort of copyright tangles.... I vaguely remember the same happened with Ultravox's Rage In Eden cover, which I like every much.
