actually...you can get it for 8.88 at Virgin here in the States...damn cheap...I was thinking of picking up a spare...you know...just in case the other one goes to shit...
Actually Jeff, I did pick up a spare copy of PCL last year as well; bought a US Factory vinyl in very, very good shape for only 4 dollars, the other used copies I've seen have been battered to hell.
Good question! Online file sharing is about finding things you can't get in the shops - concerts and rare tracks to supplement an interest in commercially available work. (I wish I could find the Nynex gig - I digress!) What's the point in recording and promoting new stuff if only one person is going to buy it and the rest of us download it for free? Established bands like New Order don't have a mass market, they rely on existing fans to make it all worthwhile - hero worship alone will not pay for the yachts and Pernod!
