Does anyone have either the 89 or 93 Dallas show?

Does anyone here have a bootleg of either the 1989 or 1993 New Order show?

have you checked bills records or any indie shops for it? i may go to bills tommorow, been meaning to go for some time anyhow, while im there ill keep an eye out..

went to bills, and sure enough they didnt have it, at least i couldnt find it, it could be there, after all, the place is fairly unnorganized:p i also checked out a place in arlington called forever young, and they didnt have anything either..

Sorry...should have told you not to waste your time. While both are good record stores, neither have much in the way of this type of item. They used to several years ago, but all you'll find there now are your standard domestic and import releases.

I think he still operates that way... must be why I never got a discount.

Bill's definitely had its day back in the mid 80's to early 90's. But now, its just as predictable as the next record store (if you can find one).

Sold me my all region DVD player and a PAL copy of the 316 DVD too.

Unfortunately, RPM has been closed for a few years now. I think Randy found that he could do more business on the internet than he could in his bricks-n-mortar store in Garland. Oddly enough, I've never run across him on the internet.

Nice guy...hated to see him disappear.

If I could ever figure out how to upload images to NOOL, I'd post Gillian's setlist from the 1993 Dallas show, as well as my ticket stub. I think I have a ticket stub from the 1989 show as well. But alas :(

You'll need to host the scan on your own webspace and link to it, or mail a scan to the webmasters. Alternatively, mail the scan to me and I'll host it.

what...Randy had some of the Run 2's???? I need to go to my mom's and see if that's one I have stashed at her place...I had a setlist from the Revenge show in Dallas, as well as the ticket stubs from the two Dallas shows, and the Houston show in 89...for some fooking stupid reason, I let my now ex-wife convince me to toss them out...no wonder I divorced her!!!

Yeah, Randy brought back a box of 20 or so Run2 12" singles right after it was released. No idea how he got them, but he was selling them briskly if I recall. All unplayed.

For those of you saying "so what" this was back before the ease of finding things on the Internet and before good distribution. The store's owner, Randy, would fly to the UK and bring back suitcases & boxes full of new promos, full lengths, videos, older singles, and weird stuff. The guy who owns FOrever Young Records used to do the same (and why can't I remember his name?).

Speaking of the Revenge gig, I seem to recall when I was working at KSMU we had an interview set up with the band, but it got canceled. We did have a sweet autographed promo poster up in the studio of the leather chick...
