Anyone think they will ever get round to releasing it on DVD, or should I take up the task of capturing/encoding/burning my VHS copy to DVD myself? If so I'll probably wait until the new dual layer technology is up & running properly... :\ohwell:

There is a japanese laserdisc version converted to dvd floating around. I own a copy. It is not an official release.
Are you sure there isnt an official laserdisc of Neworderstory
im sure I saw it in Tower Recs around 93 time 
I would have bought it but for the fact it was ridiculously expensive... (for a student in anyase!)

The laserdisc is official. The DVD is a copy of the laserdisc.
