I saw this in a local shop, and as i have both CDs, i left it there. I read (on nool) that the tshirt is shite, and theres nothing new on the CDs, i also noticed that the box/package was shit, and certainly not the work of saville (or else his worst).
Does anyone - specifically owners - think its any good?
As you already have the CDs then don't waste your hard-earned on this. I got it as I didn't have the CDs, so at €50-odd I didn't get shafted TOO much. Personally, I would have preferred a Joy Division picture/logo on the t-shirt rather than the Refractured logo, but I suppose I should be thankful that at least it fits (XL size). The "exclusive reproduction of Les Bains Douches tour poster" is A4 size, nothing to get worked up about. Also, there's a gap between each track on the CDs which kind of spoils things a bit.
I got one of the last ones, it's number 2984 of 3000. And it says Refractured Box One on it, so maybe they're planning more. I've told my local music shop not to bother holding one specially for me next time, even though it was decent of the bloke to keep this one for me, despite me not being in the shop for about 2 months!
there's really no point, unless you're a completist. as element says, the t-shirt's not really worth it, the box is a big, flimsy plastic thingy--the CDs look rather lonely inside of it sans t-shirt, and the poster's rather tiny. best get the CDs separately, i'd say, and save some money.
Get FRACTURED BOX ( Facd2.16z ) instead - it has both PRESTON & PARIS plus a nice looking cardboard slipcase ( white with vertical lines & obligatory JOY DIVISION + TITLE sticker on it )
Mines still SEALED cuz I have those CDs separately....but cant afford that refractured box, anyways, you guys now convinced me not to worry about it :)
I already had both so couldn't see the point in a box and a useless t-shirt (it ain't a JD one!)
