Hey, finding information on the new In Sessions CD is like trying to find.... well.... something you can't find. Can you answer 2 questions for me please? (That wasn't one of the two - so I guess it would be 3 questions)

  1. Is it a limited issue, or regular issue CD?
  2. Is it going to be released in the US, or UK only?

I would really appreciate nool's help. Also, unless I missed it, I did not see anything on the website about it - except for the out of date thing in the Discography that has not been updated yet. What's the deal?

i don't think it will get released in the states so you should go ahead and order one online. a simple search should turn up tons of options. i found mine in a shop for 17bucks. i've seen one used since then for less than 10 so it can't be that hard to get. i've seen new copies in Tower Records and 3 indie shops. fyi, it was well publicized on the site leading up to the release. it's been out for a couple months already so you probably missed it being discussed.

Put it this way, the other peel sessions were never distributed in the US either.

The only CD from Strange Fruit I know that has been distributed in the US is the live gig (Reading 87) but it took 8 years or so to do it.

(Note, the 81-82 Peel Sessions have been distribute in Canada though! Don't ask me why)

OK, Thanks everyone. I found it the only quality record shop in Grand Rapids, but wanted to know how rare it would be. I am short on $ right now and needed to know if I don't get it in the next few weeks, will it continue to be readily available, or is it limited. From what I am gathering, it is not a limited run. So, I will wait a bit till $ is little more available before spending $20 US for it. Thank again. :thumb:
