Elegia & Mark Osborne's "More"

Ok so I tried searching for a thread on this and nothing came up but I am all but 100% certain that this has been discussed before...I don't recall seeing a thread about it in the past couple of years...and also don't recall this being brought up when NO soundtracks are discussed. So for those of you who don't know about it here goes...

My brother mentioned that he had seen an animation short (about 6 mins long) that used Elegia as the background music. I looked it up on the net and it can be viewed here:

Also...does this constitute another edit of Elegia? Did the band re-edit it or did the producer?

Thoughts on the film/short?

Strangely enough i was just watching More again last night on the Internet.To me its a story about about being fed up of being under the heel of the bosses or whatever above you and so striving to gain the position they hold so youre not under anyone in the world of work and life .But when you reach that position or goal you find youve become what you hated and are left with an empty feeling and can only find pleasure in looking back to the carefree days of childhood.So maybe its better to be happy with where you are in life and enjoy that if achieving a goal turns you into what you hated.Sorry, i`m not very eloquent (as Bernard once said!).Great little film and Elegia works well as the soundtrack.

I did a thread on this a while ago, but it was about New Order and films. I brought up "More" because it was nominated for an Acadamy Award in the short film catagory. It's a good little film.

Just to chime in on this topic; this short film is really outstanding; in addition to the use of NO as the soundtrack for the film, it's quite a compelling piece of filmmaking.
