Time for my first attempt at a polling type question...but since I was listening to the Twisted Tenderness thingy that I won, I thought I would give it a go...
I'll start the voting with One Day...off of Raise the Pressure...

OK, I see. ;)
Just Twisted tenderness
There can be only one - Get The Message.
Mind you, I would accept answers of Feel Every Beat or Forbidden City.
Hmm... If I have to pick just one, I guess it should be Getting Away With It.
But songs like Get The Message, Forbidden City or Time Will Tell are serious contenders.
Tough to come up with just one...
Some Distant Memory Disappointed (808 Mix strictly) Freefall How Long King for a Day (and a whole bunch more from the Twisted Album)
But I'm going for... For You as my choice
and the two B-sides of the "for you"-single (blue cover)...forgot their names...
If I went for just one it'd be Idiot Country but just bubbling under are:
For You, Haze, Vivid, Dark Angel ,Forbidden City, Getting Away With it, Get the Message and Gangster
Its gotta be TwistedTenderness - which i think is an excellent, powerful track.
Getting Away With It also rates up there as one of my favourite Electronic tracks.
other timeless faves include: time can tell, out of my league, some distant memory
I remember putting a thread up a while ago where i mentioned that some of Barneys best lyric writing moments have surfaced in Electronic work.
The most interesting IMO, for the mix of Bartos' sound and Barney's melodies : I feel alright ('For You' CD1 3rd track)

Definitely. i was having alisten to the first album the other day and thinking how good the lyrics are, particuarly in comparison to some of the lame efforts on GR
the one where Barney is clearly heard farting during the middle and Johnny Marr applauds him.
Title escapes me though - it's on their second album: >raise the pressure< i think.

Jesus...I shall have to listen a little more closely to see if this is indeed true...
