Krafty: Backing Vocals

Have heard over the last few years a helluva lot of negative criticism re: female backing vocals on New ORder Tracks. In my opinion, some of it worked and some didn't.

Krafty has Bernard doing a good job on the repeat/echo.

Sounds better.

Should have let Hooky loose on the beginning of the track, though.

I for one liked the 12-inch version of Sub-Culture...

Right now the only other tracks I think of offhand with female backing vocals are World, Procession(Or was it Mesh), and that near-whisper on True Faith.

No female backing on True Faith, actually. It's Barney straining to sing an octave higher (as he does on the original 'Confusion' during the chorus).

Not even on World... maybe with the Oakenfold & Osbourne version, but not the album version...

Crystal was ok though... good use of backing vocals.

But yes, the backing vocals on Krafty are #1.. apparently Bernard learned from the Gwen Stefani backing vocals :lol: because it's VERY similar...

Wonder how it will sound live... Hooky will do them I guess...

But the INSESSION 'true faith' has a GG backing vocal - fits in quite well too
