I picked "Vanishing Point" because I think it would be interesting to hear a "Perfecto-like" update of it a'la True Faith and Touched. Classic song, long overdue a live dust off. Aside from that, I wouldn't mind hearing some obscure numbers from Low-life, such as "Face Up" and "Sooner Than You Think" :D Also, "Weirdo" from Brotherhood might be good to insert in the middle of the set, a quick 2 minute blast of classic energetic NO!
But unlikely to happen :(
I think they should definitely not play any more Joy Division songs, unfortunately despite their best intentions they sounded like a tribute band when they did Atmosphere, Heart & Soul etc. it's best left in the past and they should return to the "making it on their own afterburners" attitude as Barney put it in an interview. JD has not existed since May 1980, pointless to pretend otherwise really and part of the whole JD appeal was Hannet's bleak production that cannot exist in the live arena. Also, I'd like to see Blue Monday, Ceremony, and every Get Ready song bar Crystal removed from this tour's setlist. Time for a change and that lot has been run into the ground performance-wise over the past few years.
"Right this is Close Range..." *Everyone flocks to the bar*
Oh, and a cover of "What do you want from me?" please Santa
Ally.
